To be fair, you are only smelling the opening. Many perfumes have a strong alcohol blast initially. You should let it settle for a few minutes before letting her smell it.
i can't wrap my head around Y EDP dude. smells just meh? it doesn't change overtime at all. stays the same throughout and I would not buy it ever. i would highly prefer dylan bllue over Y edp.
dylan blue just gets quite good after initial few mins. it's just very NICE smell. nothing crazy just very good.

blind bought that one and iam giving it away to a friend, i dont like it at all. my best blind buys were: zara - sunset on the red sanddunes, afnan - turathi, lattafa - liam (grey) . all in all you cant go wrong with lattafa fragrances, very likeable and affordable
My man, certain fragrance will stain your clothing. Most won’t though, but a good test is to spray a napkin or test strip and let it sit. You’ll see if it’ll stain or not.
