What a legend absolutely 1 of a kind
Absolutely! Leon Coffee has truly left a lasting impact on the rodeo world with his incredible talent and unique style.
In the late 70s into 81 (as far as I was around) Leon would always come and work our rodeos at Crockett HS. I learned a lot about rodeo in general, not just bullriding or bull fighting from Leon. It was always great running into him at shows thru the years and visiting! The coolest thing now is seeing him give his testimony. Glad I've had the chance to know him!

Bodacious weighed 1800 pounds, not 1200.
He did get up to 1800, but he was 1200 first.
No, Ty Murray, Larry Mahan and Tom Ferguson were not the greatest All-Around Cowboys of all time. The reason being is because they didn't show the fans that they could work both ends of the arena. The way it is up in Canada, you have to prove you can rope and ride or steer wrestle. They won't let you win an All-Around buckle unless you can work both ends of the arena. Trevor Brazile is not a true All-Around Cowboy either, because all he did was rope. You have to learn how to do at least one timed event and one rough stock event to be a true All-Around Cowboy, otherwise you are just a half assed all around cowboy. Bill Linderman and Phil Lyne were probably the best All- Around Cowboys.
In the PRCA that is called the Linderman Award. It is for competing on both ends of the arena. As for Trevor Brazile, he did a little steer wrestling. But, I can agree with you for the most part. I don't make the rules though.
Enjoyed the video and small clips of Bruce's rides but why was saddle bronc and bull riding clips added?

I remember watching Bruce Ford at finals in Oklahoma City,I was fortunate to have met him in 1983 or 84 at the san antonio stock show and rodeo! A true cowboy gentleman, it was a real pleasure meeting him!!! God bless Mr.Ford, you're still my hero!!!!🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍

Bruce used to come the sale barn in my little town and buy horses for his schools. Hed try to get out of the seat and head out, the guy was so stoved up from all the rides, it would take a minute before he was tall again lol.
