Did your factory harness for the head unit plug into anything or was it just left unplugged?

Before you plug the Xtrons harness into the back of the original head unit (6:55), you should transfer the two fibre optic cables from the original plug to the Xtrons plug. (one is green, the other has a black cable protector on it). These (unlike the electrical wires) need to go directly into the original CD player, to connect it to the amplifier. Without this, you will lose the original CD player sound.
