I’m sure it’s a great place to workout…right up until a confused person with a PEN1S disrobes and showers in the locker room where my daughter is disrobing and showering.

Love my Planet Fitness in Evanston IL. Staff so nice and friendly, unbelievable clean, love massage chairs and red light. Never too crowded and all people nice and friendly. Also price is great and free for teenagers in Summer .💕👍🥰Forgot to mention right now I’m studding for NASM personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist and I am someone who is professional and I know what I’m talking about. 😉🙂

PF is the best gym I have ever been to. The staff is ALWAYS great, the facilities are always clean. My only complaint is with some of the other members: 1. Most people DON'T WIPE DOWN THE EQUIPMENT WHEN THE ARE FINISHED WITH IT and 2. Phone calls are supposed to be made in the lobby only. It's infuriating to go for a massage chair session and someone comes in and interrupts my peace with a full-blown phone conversation. It would be nice if other members treated the gym with respect and cleaned up after themselves. I can only imagine what their homes look like.

I LOVE PLANET FITNESS!!! I USED TO GO EVERRY DAY FOR 2 HRS. I WANT TO JOIN AGAIN FOR THE BLACK CARD SPA. THEY DIDN'T HAVE THAT WHEN I JOINED LAST TIME. WE HAVE A BRAND NEW ONE IN OUR TOWN.

It's only hated by men who think they need to be body builders. Planet Fitness only goes to a certain weight limit. I can't remember what it is By them advertising judgement free zone and the first thing you see is rows of treadmills, that tells me they're marketing towards mostly women Most women especially if they're feeling self conscious what do they go for? Treadmills lol I did too at first. I joined the gym in Georgetown KY. I was working at Walmart at the time on 3rd shift which is straight across the road I was SOOOOOOO embarrassed because I'd never been in a gym before. So scared to death was an understatement. I went over there and sit in my truck in the parking lot to see who all was coming and going. Just mainly people minding their own business Then I went back the next day and signed up. I was under the understanding they're supposed to show you around the gym but I saw really fast that wasn't going to happen lol so I just asked where the locker room was. Put my bag in a locker.. Got on a treadmill and bike and took a shower and got ready for work The next night I started getting on other Machines. Of course I looked up on TH-cam how to work the machines 😂😂 this is what they're supposed to show you when you sign up😂 oh well. I figured it out Now? I will walk in any gym look you in the eye and go about my business. NO more looking down feeling like im not as good because I'm just as good as everybody else in there

i used to work next door to PF and never set one foot in there - wish i had now, just to get a feel for it- but to fair, at the time my job was labor intensive (tractor supply... )i was throwing 50lbs around all day every day, then i would go home and throw around hay bales and wheelbarrows full of manure or cutting up trees with a chainsaw. i used to tease some of the guys who would come into the store asking "why pay for a gym membership when you can just come work on my farm in exchange for stuff like fresh veggies?" but really i always think of gyms as a social place. that's the only reason i never wanted to join. when i was in high school our PE program was all about doing your own thing. they didn't care what you did (basketball, track, ping pong etc) as long as you were doing something physical. they had a modest weight room which me and my girlfriends took over.. just so we could sit around and gossip while looking busy. pretty soon we were competing with each other and the boys with those weights, seeing who could lift more or quit first. sure i could join PF tomorrow but i'd just be sitting there all by myself feeling dumb and lonesome because i wouldn't have any of my friends around to challenge me. and it's a judgment free zone lol half the fun of my high school crowd was talking smack and pinching each other with those skinfold calipers. it sucks being an adult :(

Just do body weight workouts outside, Planet Fitness is not a real gym with a good variety of gym workout tools, its just a marketing scam corporation that lies to dumb people with a false narrative while greatly limiting people in their fitness potential experience with limited equipment workout tools. I use to work at a big gym chains in Florida Bally's and Lifestyle Family Fitness that had professional body builders, powerlifters and tons of all most handicapped Florida retired elderly people that all worked out right next to one another in the same open gym facility and it was never a problem. Its all on how the gym markets itself and the atmosphere they create, compared to other gyms Planet Fitness is a marketing scam that creates a false imaginary lie based narrative to naive ignorant people that don't have any real gym experience so they don't know any better.

Curious about milk/dairy products. Milk, eggs, cheese, sour cream, yogurt.

They want me to pay for membership by Electronic Funds Transfer directly from my bank account instead of with a credit card. And they have the gall to claim that this is for MY convenience. BS. If it's for MY convenience, it should be MY option, not a requirement. If it's for MY convenience, they would accept monthly cash payments if that"s how I'd prefer to pay. I hate when businesses and corporations lie so blatantly and try to tell me what they're doing for their own good is really for MY own good. Sure PF, sure. Time to boycott.

There is no problem at all at the Planet Fitness I attend. I received motivation from watching exercises routines. I am four months in and doing better than ever.

Hard to believe Planet Fitness supports violating women. They will go out of their way to make sure it stays that way. Dr Phill has a piece on it. CANCEL ALL MEMBERSHIPS TO SUPPORT WOMENS SAFETY, AND FIGHT AGAINST SUCH PERVERTED DESTRUCTIVE POLICIES THAT THEY CONSIDER A GREATER GOOD.

say whatever u want man, i have been a member for almost a year and i feel great there. my goal is to get more flexible and healthier or even just to sweat after a busy day to feel better, im not looking to life a huge load of some fking stupid dead weight

So---I am a 2:45 marathoner, and have done 3 sup 12 hour ironman races. I go to Planet Fitness to do my weight training because it is convenient, cheaper then buying and taking care of home equipment and because I travel, there are many gyms, and basically all the same same so I don't have to spend time orienting myself. Sometimes, I use the treadmill to do some speedwork if there isn't a track close by and available. Why do I care what the person on the treadmill is doing because he is not as fast as me? Here is the thing, most of the people at Planet Fitness are there for basic fitness, and it is better then not exercising. I know I am not going to get specialized body building equipment there. It's the McDonalds of gyms, and like McDonalds, I can come up with terrible anecdotal stories.

A plant fitness in Temple City CA had an employee get jumped right in front of the building and one of the guys had a membership they refused to revock that idiots membership so the employee quit , sad when your place of employment has no concern for your well-being smh

The staff is rude in Atlanta and harassed me because I said the equipment was old Belvedere Plaza. It's extremely hard to contact someone if you have an issue

Love this gym. Plenty of equipment to get in shape. They try to keep the juicers out by limiting weights.

I’ve stayed there for a week last year and I loved it

Planet fitness is great. It allows people who want to be able to work out access to a gym and good equipment without needing to worry about the weirdo power and body builders. Planet fitness is not for those people. It’s for the other 90% of the population and it’s great that they are able to provide fitness center availability at an affordable price to the public.

I was here on a "fam trip" as a travel professional in 2019 before the resort opened. Myself and about 8 other invitees were wined and dined for several days by the director of sales for Barcelo Resorts. I must say it was the experience of a lifetime. The staff, the amenities, the food, and the views were second to none. Of all the places I have stayed in Mexico this resort complex was my absolute favorite! I want to stay again so bad!

the biggest issue I have with planet fitness is the kids that congregate around a machine forever and how long people sit at a machine on their phone.
