Mine dont have any issue with the fan

This is the 1st video of the 20+ I've watched that actually had an audible noise you could actually hear in the video. The sound you are hearing has to do with either the fan motor itself ever so slightly rubbing against something internally or the motor being poorly mounted in the fan. Either can cause an unbalancing effect that can make a noise of that frequency.

Just bought this card, have not found this to be an issue at all. YET.

You are not the only one with motor noise, my 4070 ti arrived yesterday "same model" and i get the exact same noise at 30% fan speed, yet my old 3060 ti strix made no fucking sound even at 60%+ fan speed

Thanks for the Video. I was considering the Zotac (AIRO has a very good PCB) and I liked the aesthetic look of the card, but I keep my cards for years and don't want a bad fan motor noise in such a high end card. Looks like MSI or Gigabyte are the remaining options that seemingly have low Coil Whine and decent performance, even though the Gigabyte Gaming OC card (great performer in reviews) is quiet poor looking.

That would have been back in the box within 60 seconds if I'd owned it. Refund. You spend $2k and get $2 fans. :(

crappy zotac response. All they have to do is compare their zotac cards with another brand, ie) gigabyte, asus, msi. and they won't be able to deny the sound difference of their crappy grindy fan motors compared to a normal fan motor noise. The noise bothered me so much i had to buy a gigabyte card which is so much quieter. Problem is, im stuck with the zotac as well, so i spent money on 2 4090s.

I can tell you what they told me "This is the noise of the fan motor and it's something normal. If you think it's annoying then you can return your card back to seller for warranty." So yeah good luck, but don't expect to much. Zotac doesn't care about that, and don't want to have anything to do with an RMA... I really like my card, but idk if can live with that noise for the next 2 years or so until the next cards come out. P.S. Did you have a yellow sticker or something like that on the plastic bag that the card is in, that works like a seal to tell you it wasn't opened yet? Because i had this sound from day one, and i think my cards was already opened and then send back because of the noise. And the store then send it to me as a new card.

At the beginning, the card without load went into passive mode, but after a few days, the fans work all the time. What should I do to make the fans run only when the card is loaded?

Driving the backroads in PR can be a challenge but is rewarding, and keeps you on your toes!

I own the Rocket Rambler with blue Cags and I've send my Bennett truck to Beernett Skate Systems to upgrade it. Hope it was worth it

@SkyTw0 each 6990 equal 2 6970s, there are 4 GPUs shown. MSI Kombustor did not recognize them as 6990, but MSI Afterburner did. See 0:35. Not feeling very smart SkyTw0 are you?

That "Simulation" is only CRAP !!! Grafix is very good but the rest is for the trash-box...

Not drivers - lowering voltage to 1.120 resolved the issue.

ive seen those artifacts on my video cards many times, they do that right before they die. why did you get 4 gpu's anyway? amd drivers have been nothing but abysmal as of late, even with dual gpu support in many new games.
