Just kept the tarmac setting, was a little worried id wear the tyres unevenly on gravel but they ended up not wearing at all since there was so little grip

@@benjaminfrohns they lasted 6-7 hours on track not pushing them hard, didn't wear too much but were losing a bit of grip in the last 2 hours

@@EkaiMin Almost guaranteed that a MAF or TPS sensor is broken. Good that you found and fixed it.

I tried it and it didn't produce as clean of a sound for some reason (user error probably, was hoping it magically was good), and I'm not sure how to get rid of the other artefacts the noise reduction gives (weird frequencies)

@@EkaiMin I actually pulled the audio from the video and tried it myself and, yeah, it didn't work so well. The only think I could do to really get rid of most of the noise was to put some heavy EQ that reduced the volume of a very large chunk of the upper frequency range. Which didn't really sound great. The problem really is that the noise is just too loud in comparison to all the other sounds and drowns them out. Wind noise from open windows probably would have been easier to deal with.

Yea, the noise of the AC covers the same frequencies as the ones you want to actually hear I think, which makes it a lot harder

yep, 26 AWD, 17 2WD and out of those 7 are RWD (3 cars) and I was fastest RWD

wouldn't pick up too much from just harder braking, but could definitely pick up a lot of corner entry speed by relying less on grip driving the fronts, so will be trying that next event

The squealing is wind noise lol the door/window seals on these don't work the best after 30 years As for pace, they are different tracks the time sheet says I got a 149sec for both of them, but I was about 5-10 seconds more off pace for this run the guy in first place got a 123 for this one and 133 for the other test

Could definitely save a lot of time with braking, but since the car barely had grip in the rain I was driving conservative so that I didn't end up in a wall like the other 3 subarus did

@@EkaiMin good thinking, sometimes there is more to lose than to win.

​@@benjaminfrohns more conservative driving is also what let me beat dad lol he was driving too aggressive and spun out a couple times and also got 2 penalties for hitting cones

theyre very broken plz fix

that corner I was struggling with on track 2 was quite tight and was very loose on the outside, so what i was doing was entering wide which meant i was in the loose stuff and had no grip to turn in, also the front tyres were worn out. Track 3 was probably one of the nicer ones apart from the crest in the middle. and yes cronch was something bottoming out, no visual damage though, probably just the bumper scraping the cat just walked up into the shade, sat down and looked at me when i was taking photos lol
