At approximately 1:43 in the video, Gantt is seen attempting to escape custody and run across the street. He was immediately restrained and moved to the Ferguson Fire Department holding area.

This clip shows protesters removing the bottom panels of the gated fence at Ferguson Police Department. Protesters tried multiple times to destroy the gate but it held with the exception of the bottom two panels which were destroyed causing $3,214 in damages. The protesters set the panels in the street to block traffic along South Florissant Road in front of the police department.

Who is Elijah and why are they arresting him???
He is the guy that plowed into Officer Brown causing a severe brain injury. Officer Brown, last I heard, was in a coma. Officers initially went out to arrest several people that were involved in the destruction of the FPD fence.

@@queenbinsd The suspect is charged with 1st degree assault for this act, which is a Class B felony in Missouri, or a Class A felony if the victim suffers serious physical injury, or is a "special victim." Given that the victim is a LEO, this does qualify as Class A, which carries a penalty of 10 to 30 years in prison.
