Indeed? That is a game I will certainly get to during the course of my eternal existence. I have long enjoyed Ultima VII, wherein one may stack common crates to such a height as to challenge the very gods!!

Ahhh yesss, there was an NES version that now lies forgotten under the dust of the ages. One of my mortal thralls says it was on the cover of the first video game magazine they ever owned.

Short, like a mortals pointless existance

A pleasing sight to see, my lord, these efforts need to be _properly implemented_ in order to put together an army of undead converts from using a review presentation on youtube. Hell, it worked for SniperWol-- uh... well, MM1 is a fine example of the NES' ability to adopt new concepts quickly into its growing library of games as well. Many games were founded on the level by level progression, but here, Capcom figured to leave this decision up to the player for once, what a wild idea! We also see the beginnings of the sterling musical legacy of Yoshihiru Sakaguchi, who would score many a great title after this, including some contemporary offerings, as well as sound design alongside Junko Tamiya's awesome work in Little Nemo the Dream Master, a youthful favorite of mine. Overall, it was an important game, but also a difficult one, so it will be a journey for any new acolytes, but a necessary one!
After so many eons of undeath I only perceive music as mathematical fluctuations in tone, but even then the merits of the Mega Man soundtrack are difficult to discount. And the small changes between Mega Man and Mega Man 2 demonstrate how thin a line mortals ever walk between mediocrity and greatness.
A mighty choice, Lich! This game was a real challenge in my youth, and had the fervent awesomeness of a Sunsoft soundtrack as well, a tradition of theirs since Batman, Gimmick, Blaster Master, and the oddly reskinned-like Fester's Quest. The challenge always stuck to me of never knowing what the items did until they showed up in Game Informer once. I enjoyed your theatrical little gasps of ominous surprise in this, milord, you have a flair for the dramatics, even in this early offering! I'm not puttin' my soul in that book though, it's looking at me. I don't trust books that try to read _me._
The game came packaged with a small tome that could be useful in divining its secrets, but I am given to understand these tomes were often quickly lost, or not included at all when mortals would offer their games for "rent."
A shadow has stirred deep in the unslumbering Castle of the Broken Hand, beneath the crypt of the black-hearted, ice-cold contempt of death that is the Throne of the Undead.... TWO YEARS AGO?! dammit, youtube, you've gotta start finding me more stuff, this is the horror host the internet needs right about now! A chilling, skeletal lord of chilling corruption and pain, in the TV room of shadows, in the basement rec room of horrors! And a good place to start too, this is one arcade port that tests the skill and mettle with its relentless challenge and cyclical madness-music~ I'm pledging my allegiance to the Gaming Lich. You'll.... probably beat it someday, milord.
Your frustration is commendable, but do not trouble yourself over the passage of time, for mortal years to me are no more than the flickering shadows on the wall, here and gone again just as soon.
The curious case of Link, the Hero of Time, and the Hylian Swordsman, now has another notch in its inscrutably prodigious and poorly time-lined belt. Your wisdom is most welcome on the subject, Gaming Lich, I will sacrifice the one-thumbed in offering, and have sealed the Pact of Bells. Now, I shall look to your other thoughts, and thoughts yet to come~

How apt that you address the power of immolation. For in his merciless defense of his home, the mightiest of weapons available in this game allows young Kevin to utilize fiery hot coals as a projectile weapon. No doubt to inflict maximum suffering via a slow and painful immolation reminiscent of the hellfire that awaits them when he finishes toying with his prey.
Sadly the coals appear to be the rarest weapon as well, though perhaps if McCallister were allowed to overuse them his foes would expire too quickly.

Have you considered that Simon Belmont himself might not be mortal? It's not as is mere mortals can survive eating meat that's been rotting behind walls for who know how long or can simply return to life again and again no matter how many times they die.
Hmm, perhaps, though if he does number among the immortals it would be an embarrassment to the rest of us. He would be well advised to learn how to use stairs before attempting further adventures.
