Skippers Truth -
Once she soared with wings of blue,
Her feathers deep, a sapphire hue.
A blue jay angel, fierce and proud,
Her colors vibrant, bold, and loud.
In the battles she did lead,
Her voice a cry, her heart a creed.
Alongside Zakariya, her brother's roar,
A hyena's wit, a lion’s core.
They fought together, side by side,
A bond unbroken, fierce with pride.
But in the shadows, whispers grew,
Of a raven's gaze, dark and true.
For years, the blue jay yearned to flee,
To be as the humans, wild and free.
To live, to love, to have a home,
Not bound to skies, not bound to roam.
She pleaded with the raven's might,
Her voice like thunder in the night.
“I want to live as they do,
To love and build, to start anew."
The raven smirked, its eyes so cold,
A twisted deal, a heart to fold.
“Your freedom, blue jay, can be undone,
But first, the deal must be begun."
Zakariya screamed, his heart aflame,
He begged her stay, to break the chain.
But the raven's claws gripped tight and fast,
The blue jay’s fate was sealed at last.
With a grin that mocked her sorrowed cry,
The angel flew, yet the brother cries.
Years would pass, the clock would turn,
As blue jay wings began to burn.
In a hundred moons, the call would come,
And she would lose all she had done.
A life she’d built, a family grown,
Stripped away, left all alone.
Eight months she lived in Vex, from joy to pain,
From love to loss, from cheer to strain.
Marriage, adoption, a life begun,
Then all erased beneath the sun.
Her brother, Zakariya, filled with rage,
Screamed at the fate that bound her cage.
For she, the angel, had the life he dreamed,
A home, a love, a life redeemed.
Yet as the raven came to call,
To collect its due, to watch her fall,
The hyena fled, in shadows hid,
Building his life, a life he bid.
But the raven’s claws tore through his flesh,
Choking his heart, a tightening mesh.
For he was low, a rank unworthy,
To be free, to be happy, to live so swarthy.
The raven's wrath, a darkened stroke,
Stripped him bare, till all was broke.
His daughter torn from his embrace,
He wept beneath the raven's face.
Now the blue jay angel, broken still,
Was bound again, by fate’s cruel will.
Her wings, once bright, now pale and worn,
Her past, her love, all torn and shorn.
She must collect, to sacrifice,
To sever ties, to pay the price.
Zakariya, her brother, now her charge,
To care for him, beneath the large
And watchful eyes of raven’s rage,
To turn the wheel, to fill the page.
Their role was not yet done,
More lives to take, more tears to run.
And so they went, to lands unknown,
To fulfil the contract, cast in stone.
The blue jay soldier, once so free,
Now bound in chains, unable to see
A way to break, to heal, to mend,
The cost of freedom, the price of the end.
For the raven waits with claws so tight,
And the blue jay sings no songs of light.
Her brother, Hyena, at her side,
They must obey, or both collide.
A fallen angel, bound by blood,
In the raven's shadow, where dreams are mud.
