Hi! If you receive this message, could you please contact us at humbermediaarts@humber.ca? We believe this account was created by an employee (or former employee?) and would like to get access, if possible! Thanks for your help.
Attended from 1988 to 1990 and played in the A band during my second year. The arrangements are generally done by the faculty or bought. There have been some very famous and successful jazz artists that have gone through Humber and the faculty are exceptional.
mMmMm Tasty, tasty jazz.
0:25 O_O that trumpet range.... huhuhuhhhh sounds godly
Haha, im searching for random Humber College music performances, and I find one with my vocal coach in it :P
Saw them live at the musicfest nationals in Ottawa in may 2012 and they were phenomenal. Everything was precise and practiced right to the bone. The best stage band ever
Very nice
Anyone know who the arranger of this chart,is? Hip and Fantastic Band and Vocalist! (I expected no less from a school that has Kirk MacDonald as an improv teacher)
@RafaelLuna18 troll
WOw!!! Humber's nand sounds so good! Many college bands don't sound this good. Way to go Toronto!!!!!!
@mixedbreed19 If I can afford it, I'll be going there after my jazz diploma at mohawk in Hamilton. If I don't make the 'A' band by the time I'm done, I'd be rather upset! Though I'm a perfectionist...I imagine even the 'B' band would be quite an experience!
drumstyx6464 Hey who is this. I went to Mohawk for guitar. Graduated 2010
wow nice group even though it doe snot have as much students as the A Band. Keep it up sax player you could be the next Bob Mintzer. The only thing here is that the band needs to be softer with sax solo and rhythm section needs to be alot louder. Guitar player needs to study more but overall the group sounds pretty solid.
Damn what a Band, shit it makes me want to go to canada instead.
My goodness! Both those guys are a testament to the teaching of Pat LaBarbera. I studied with him in the '90s. What a great clip. Thanks!
Nice!
*sigh* Looooove it!
Yeah, great band and awesome tenor solo!
This was great. Was it written or improvisation?
lol, that ending was hot
Do you have any of the Humber College Latin Jazz Night performances by any chance?
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! WE WIN - some great playing by both musicians and we, the listeners, get the greatest win here. Thanks for posting!
Kid on the right totally wins
Holy shit, This band is amazing
