006 Design Issues. it appears that the main wing has less-than optimal profile. 007 the rudder and elevator are IN the prop wash.! the stabs are poorly designed. the amount of slope used at the vert-stab le is slightly excessive; the stab is also Heavy, because it's over-large/tall. the span of the horiz-stab should be equal to thirty percent of the wingspan. the root chords of the stabs Should be Equal in length.! servos do NOT go at the tail.!!! because, doing so results in more tail-heaviness in the model's dom.! distribution of mass. so, PUT servos Near the cg.!!! because an offset pusher thrust configuration has been used, the use of an adjusted thrust Angle/Line is called for.! doing so would, among other things, reduce the amount of thrust vectoring that is occurring at the rudder and elevator. if the main wing has a contiguous load-bearing main spar (located at thirty percent of chord), the use of wing struts is Not Necessary.! the elimination of the wing struts would result in a significant reduction in Drag. if the wing profile IS weird, it should be determined whether the chosen design of the wingtips is 'making things worse'. (compare the clark-y profile. see the SPECIFIC shape at its Lower leading edge; see that the profile is thickest near Thirty percent of chord.) googletranslate

If you roll to the right, does the helicopter continue to go right when you take your hand off of the remote? Or do you have to correct it and resent it to helicopter like bouncing on a ball? I did not know if the left and right side click will re-center the chopper or you have to RECenter it after coming out of a roll?

what airfoil were they using? any high-lift devices like flaps or slats?

Question for you. I realize this is not your plane but do you think this powerplant has enough power to hover the cub? I know I know, it's a cub. I'm looking to do heavy towing with it so it's more a question of what the power to weight ratio is. Besides, what's wrong with a little hover every now and then ?;)

shoot, my old raptor 50 is still one of my favorite helis to fly. She has been trimmed and tweaked over the years but still a blast to fly.
