Very touching and inspiring story. I think Miriam should have contacted mark and his wife and quietly discussed and resolved the issue. This public disgrace was unnecessary because it didn’t brought Miriam peace. As for joke, she is one of the people the Bible speak of as tears in the church. She has a very bad character . She is a troublemaker and a gossip. I am happy things worked out for mark, his wife and they church. As Jesus Christ did say, he who is without sin cast the first stone. We have all sinned and make many mistakes in our lives. We just have to ask the Lord for forgiveness everyday and keep moving on.🙏🏾

The father is not any better. He didn't rule over his wife and take authority as God intended him to do, not in an abusive way. He should've seen his wife as problem, showing favoritism. He should have sent her away until she was ready to submit to him and let him take charge and guide his son. He was weak. He backed down from her too soon.

This story teaches us that no matter the difficulties, we should never let our emotions derail our honesty. It was indeed a very intriguing story.
