There was a different story being told in the Golden Age. Different lives being lived. And then the Eclipse happened. Nothing stays the same. For better or worse Guts and Casca won’t ever be the same. And I will never forgive Griffith. I will live my life out of spite. Until Berserk… Guts.. Miura… shows me differently. In a way Miura can’t… not the way he intended. But through the people he surrounded himself with… maybe they can…
This scene was a lot more than what it showed. If you read between the lines, Griffith didn't only hurt himself when he took his life, but in a literal sense hurt the ones who loved him the most. This scene was nothing but pain.
