Some cameras do make a clicking sound when operating. Switching from day to night makes a very audible noise on the ones I've had.

Regrettably, access to the canyon via the hiking trail has been obstructed by the operation of the gravel pit. For more than a century, people have enjoyed hiking into this canyon, but now it's inaccessible due to mining activities that are causing environmental disruption.
@wildwasatch Yes, we are creating a documentary and book about the 20 open pit mining operations in Box Elder County, we will stop them, don't worry! The time has come to take a stand against all this destruction. We were just wondering if the pipe is still there so I can include that in my report to the county commissioners. Willard City Council is in bed with the mining companies, so they will be of no help.
