The Foot Hub is a new practice providing high quality Podiatric care to Alexandria and surrounding suburbs. With five core services including; Orthotic Therapy, Ski Boot Fitting, Cosmetic Nail Treatment, Ingrown Nail Surgery, and Everyday Podiatry, it's our aim to provide optimal service and care to all our patients. The Podiatrists at The Foot Hub are experienced in all aspects of podiatry; encompassing sports, occupational, diabetes, paediatrics, general foot care and footwear technology. It is our goal that through this medium we will effectively educate, optimise patient compliance and enhance treatment outcomes.

@@no-gr6gu nope it doesn't. I've had my entire toenail removed once, followed by roser plasty on both my toes. The anesthesia shots hurt a bit, but the procedure doesnt hurt. Take yiur daily painkillers for about 2-3 days and you're good to go. Keep the area dry too.

@nani178 Even tho 1 year ago, the shots feel like someone pinching your toes (it's not too bad) it hurts for like 5 minutes. In less than 5 hours I'm going to get this procedure done (Again)
It's not the bad!! I had a really bad ingrown toenail and i had to have this done, Only bad part was the 4 shots in my toe dont worry about it.My ingrown toe nail is came back so i'm getting the surgery again, I'm scared but i know its gonna be okay

It's not supposed to come back with the phenol though. I got that done at age 9, I'm 25 now and my nail never bothered me again. I got a matrixectomy done.
@@D.J.M.S. I removed part of the nail from both the toes and it was heaven for 6 months and it came back. My doctor suggests to remove nail bed through surgery and have a stitch
It won't grow fully back right? I thought the phenol was used to make the toenail underneath the skin die out. So you'll be left with a missing strip of nail. My doctor told me it would only be straighter a bit after 10 years
Hello, the phenol will permanently destroy the portion of nail matrix that you have removed. Podiatrists only remove the edge of the ingrowing toenail allowing a nice full shape of the toenail post surgery as we are aware of cosmetic concerns post surgery.
