Heaven Scent Racing Nostalgia Dragster at Famoso Dragstrip for the 2024 California Hot Rod Reunion
This is the final race of 2024 for Blaine Neal and his Heaven Scent Racing team. It's been an incredible year running the entire Nor Cal Nostalgia and the NHRA Heritage series. We a number one qualifier and two final rounds along the way.
The crew consisted of sponsor Rick Bishop, owner of Bernie Bishop Mazda in Brookings Oregon, Neal Zook and Fred Berry. We also had a tremendous amount of assistance from many of the great racers in nostalgia drag racing.
We are ready to fast forward to 2025 and get it going again! See you in March for the March Meet at Famoso Raceway! Lets go!

This a summary of Blaine Neal driving the Heaven Scent Racing NE-2 front engine dragster at Redding Dragstrip. This was a NHRA Heritage Series event that took place September 20-21 2024. Spoiler Alert: We qualified 5th out of 18 cars but Blaine suffered a heat stroke in round one. He was transported to the local emergency room and then returned to the track a few hours later.
