A Michigan hunting channel where we aren’t just in the outdoors, we’re apart of it!
We are a MICHIGAN HUNTING channel where we hunt all around the great state of Michigan, on Public and Private lands, while also traveling outside of the state to pursue big game as well. Self-filming is no easy task by any means, and we take pride in showing our viewers the rollercoaster of events throughout each hunt. We know that in order to be successful in a HIGHLY pressured state, it takes dedication and a little bit of luck at times. Therefore, we feel that we can relate to a lot of hunters out there. So come on out to Deer Camp and enjoy the trials and tribulations that come along with each season!

Deer Hunting in Michigan's Upper Peninsula DEER CAMP 2023
This week were headed over the Mighty Mac and into God's Country as we head to Deer Camp in Michigan's Upper Peninsula! Thing's are a little different this year as I am showing up to camp for the first time ever without a buck tag! Zack and I team up in the deer woods with high hopes of getting him a buck. The deer are up and on their feet, but so are the wolves as we lay eye on a couple back in the timber. So grab a cold beer and join us in camp this week for everyone's favorite episode!

Monster buck hunting
มุมมอง 4.3K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
This week I kicked off my Rutcation with high hopes of going after a buck named Houdini! This 5.5 year old Michigan Monster has given hunter after hunter the slip season after season, but will his luck run out when he meets a hunter with no quit? After taking a doe in the early season and a beautiful 10pt during the October Lull I am headed back to the home farm with a chance to go 3/3 on the s...
Bear Hunting West Virginia 2023
มุมมอง 1.1K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
This week were in the mountains of West Virginia as Jamie and I are both hoping to fill a bear tag, or possibly even a deer tag. The weather was hot and the action was jammed packed, but do we fill our tags or go home empty handed?
Hunting the early season
มุมมอง 7295 หลายเดือนก่อน
This week we are kicking off the new season with an early season doe hunt on the home farm here in Michigan! As always the boys seemed to of crashed the party spoiling our plans as legal shooting hours open. Now we'd have to sit back and enjoy the show as we wait for the does to show.
Deer Chores
มุมมอง 2697 หลายเดือนก่อน
This week I jumped in my truck and headed down to the home farm to knock out some deer chores. My time was limited, as I only had 2 hours to work with but I wanted to share with you all what I was doing on the farm while down there. I was even able to pull a few trail camera chips and share a few of the pictures with you
Deer Hunting in Michigan's Upper Peninsula DEER CAMP 2022

This week we head over the bridge and into the 906 as we get ready for Michigan's opening day of rifle season! Everybody's favorite deer camp is back in action and the guys are filling tags as we end up shooting a total of 7 deer during our 19th consecutive season together! Things start out on a high note as we head back to the field for the 16th season but it doesnt take long before the wolves...

IT'S DOE TIME on the farm this week, as Kyle decides to take a bunch of does to help with the overall health of the herd. With the Michigan DNR coming out with an open letter (09/21/23) to all hunters to consider taking more does this year, Kyle shows us that it not only is a fun time hunting them but it also helps with the overall health of the herd! So come join us and take a guess at how man...
Tagged out on a GIANT buck
มุมมอง 1.6Kปีที่แล้ว
Rifle season in Michigan is coming to a close and things are going down to the wire as Kyle has high hopes of filling his second buck tag here in Michigan. After a long pressured season Kyle is finally able to tag out in Michigan and Andrew is also able to shoot his biggest buck to date in Michigan as well. SZN 5| Eppy 7
BIG 11pt shot
มุมมอง 992ปีที่แล้ว
After hunting the farm several times and having some close calls, Kyle finally is able to take down a buck that he was after at last legal light. Although the light was too dark to catch the shot on film we were able to catch all the excitement and the highs and lows of the hunt. This 11pt buck fills one of Kyles two Michigan tags! BIG Michigan BUCK shows up
มุมมอง 946ปีที่แล้ว
This week on Droptine Ridge I make my way back to the home farm for some hunting after trying my luck on the public land in Northern Michigan. Things start out pretty exciting as it doesn't take me long to connect on a nice Coyote. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get that part on film but I was able to have a BIG Michigan buck make an appearance! Would I be able to put an bolt in him, or would ...

Deer hunting with a decoy and hunting public land in Michigan
มุมมอง 2.6Kปีที่แล้ว
Week three of the 2022 deer season I found myself starting out on the farm before heading off to some public land that I hadn't hunted before in Northern Michigan. After making my way into the public land with hopes of picking up a few trail cameras that I had placed out earlier in the year, I came across some deer sign that was just way too good to pass up, so I put on my saddle and headed out...
Deer hunting the COLD FRONT
มุมมอง 445ปีที่แล้ว
After an exciting opening day, the team is back in the woods as a major 21 degree cold front moves on in on us. The deer are on their feet, and a target buck comes well within range. But sometimes within range and doing the ethical thing makes things a little difficult. Watch as week two unfolds for the guys as you aren't going to want to miss it! SZN: 5| Eppy 2
Hunting big bucks
มุมมอง 2Kปีที่แล้ว
Were finally back in the tree as Michigan's opening day of bow season is finally here! This week were headed back to the farm with high hopes of tagging a nice Michigan Buck. After spending time putting in food plots, clearing trails, and hanging stands and cameras we are hoping all our hard work pays off, and with plenty of big bucks in the area we have reasons to be optimistic! That was a good pass on 1st buck. He has some great potential next year. I have a farm in Calhoun county. Ive been hunting a 170 inch deer for 3 years now and love every minute of the cat and mouse game each season. Its a blessing to have encounters with a animal of this caliber! Keep up the grind, great video!
I hope you are finally able to catch up to that 170”. Happy hunting!
You guys got a great group! Vets, younger fellas and everything in between! Gettin together is what it's all about! Great vid!
Is that cabbage 🥬💥😃
Yea it is. They love it
love it
Id say you did pretty good with 3 bucks ! Even with the wolves!
Thank you! Good luck hunting
That looks like the Newberry/Seney area.
Never know 😉
That ain’t the fredbear I know
?
Best deer camp videos!
when you drag a buck in a sled have the head at the other end of the sled so the antlers don't catch.
when you set up your stands the #1 thing you think about is the sun. #2 is the wind.
Love the trophy and buck money pool
We like it too! It’s a cool way for years of history to be remembered
Glad to see you boys are still keeping it going up in the Yoop! I’ll be heading up to the Manistee soon for Archery. 💪🏼
Thanks for the watch! Good luck hunting!
Music too loud, aggressive. I watch for hunting, not Metallica.
Well I am sorry the music wasn’t for you. I have to use it at times to kill radio music or for time lapses. I’ve tried to turn it down when editing. Anyway happy hunting
Heck yes !! Way to go Fellas ! Another great season with good camaraderie and gathering around the pole. Good job Droptine ridge crew. Good luck this season from our camp to yours. 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it! Hope your bow season is going well and we all look forward to another Camp Benny episode!
I love your videos man, so great!! What gun and caliber do you use?
What county?
Can’t give away all the secrets 🤫
😂
I can’t help but notice how you pass those 2 year old 8 points on your home farm but then you and your guys will come up to the UP and essentially shoot any buck bigger than a spike. We could grow big bucks too without trolls coming up and shooting our young bucks. I like your videos and I’m a subscriber but I gotta say….it chaps my ass. No wonder most hunting yoopers don’t like Trolls and FIBS.
Thank you for watching and being a subscriber! I can understand why you would feel that way. Only two of us are bow hunters. We have followed the 3 on a side rule for as long as it has been in place in the UP. Surprisingly the hunting was actually a LOT better before that rule came into place, but I also think we can both agree that there’s a four legged animal that adds to that problem. I definitely can see where you are coming from but it doesn’t have the impact one would think, just look at the bridge numbers and the actual numbers from the harvest reports. One of the guys shot only his second buck in the UP in over 20 years of hunting this year. The farm we are hunting is special no doubt and I am lucky to hunt it. But I also am a guest there and do not own it, so there are rules I have to follow. I am thankful for your support and do enjoy some of the constructive feedback. I will let you know this season I and a few others in camp have made the choice to go after older class deer this year there. Again, thank you for watching and good luck this year! I hope you get a big one!
What part of the state are you guys out of?
Mid Michigan
@@DroptineRidge nice, I’m here the Yoop but I enjoy seeing people show what all we have to offer. Great video
@@SaurianKing77 - Thank you
I wish the deer population didn't take such a huge decline from predators!!! U.P is always a special place.
We definitely need a wolf season
🐺💥🦅
Great video and good luck this season
Thank you! Good luck to you as well this season
Good times great memories love that u.P!
Absolutely love the UP! Best place on earth
The guy wearing the rapid river knife sweatshirt that’s in my home town best knife’s ever
They are great knives for sure
Omg it’s Sunday, Labatts in hand and a Droptine video, awesome video as always guys
Who needs coffee when you can have beer! lol glad you enjoyed the video
When you live deer hunting 24/7/365, you earn every opportunity afforded. So yeah don’t listen to the jealous folk. Well done!
Agreed! Thanks for watching
Beauty congrats
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video! Happy hunting!!
great video! I'll have to stop in to visit yahs this upcoming season
We welcome all… Just be sure to bring some beer haha
how did you guys do this season? seemed like more hunters were back in that area then normal
@@Mac200520 - There sure were a ton of people back there this year.
I look forward to this video all year long, thanks Jerry! Im counting down the days to my own Deer Camp this year. Cheers boys!
Glad you enjoyed it! It’s definitely everyone’s favorite episode! You’ll have to let us know when you do your own camp how it goes. It’s always a blast with family and friends
What a STUD! Congrats Jerry, thats a BEAST!!
Thanks Josh! It’s one hunt I’ll never forget
Another great video. Thanx for sharing! Love the u.p. its hard to hunt any where else.
It sure is a challenge up there for sure. Glad you enjoyed the video, happy hunting!
Just curious, I hear you guys all refer to sitting in a blind. Are tree stands illegal in that area?
We can use a tree stand there, one of the guys uses his saddle and I did a few years ago. The blinds are just easier especially with the weather and all day sits
Can't wait for upcoming season closing in on us fast. I wish you all good luck.
Thank you and good luck to you as well! Only a few more days and bow season will be here 😁🦌🦌
What are you using for an antenna for tv. thx.
We’re actually not using an antenna, we’re using a USB C to HDMI Digital AV Adapter for iPhone. It connects to the TV and a phone then we can stream anything. Their about $30 on Amazon
Have you ever put on a drive to move deer?
Up in the UP I have not. There’s only a few areas we could successfully do one, it’s pretty thick up there. I have done them in the lower though
Heck ya!! Awesome video bud👍. Deer camp is a dying thing these days but you and I are doing what we can to keep’er going!!
Yes sir!!! Gotta keep the tradition alive!
13:40, that’s a great attitude. People are always coming and going, it’ll change again another year.
I agree! I just share the woods and move along. There’s plenty of great spots out there.
7 weeks and i'll be UP there!
Awesome shot! That’s a big buck!!
Great video!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
At least you have plenty of guys to do a deer camp and have fun with my hunting party consist of my uncle and I and before that it was me,my dad,and my uncle but my dad past away in 2014 but my uncle and i still go to western new York in memory of my dad who was my uncles brother
Deer Camp is always a riot! Sorry for the loss of your dad. I’m sure he’s right there in the woods with you on every hunt
@@DroptineRidge i always love watching your deer camp videos
I do know that he's looking down on me when i shot the buck after he passed away because after i shot the buck i couldn't find it right away and i looked up at the sky and asked my dad on which way it went and i ended up finding the buck
My family has a cabin in Kiva on 41 between Rapid River and Marquette! I might be wrong but I don't think we are very far from your camp? Thanks for the videos from God's country. I've picked up some tips that are camp is trying out this year and so far we are seeing more deer on the property via trail cams. We have our fingers crossed! Good luck to your deer camp 2024. Maybe we will bump into each other up there sometime. It's always a pleasure meeting new outdoorsmen that share the same passion for being in the woods in the U.P.
Yeah, I got a cabin on the back of my 100+ acre farm. Premo hunting land. Everything -woods, swamp, orchard, shrubs, fields etc. Nobody hunts anymore. Going to waste. Not like the old days.
Awesome buck congrats!
