We had one of these!! They are fantastic vans. Ours was called the Clownwagon…..our children had expected a cool Vdub-type camper- but we turned up with one of these….”you’ve bought a Clownwagon”….they didn’t complain when we went down to Cornwall almost every weekend in the summer holidays though! Driving it was a bit like cycling- speed up on the downhills, crawl up the hills😂. So lovely to see you keeping it going. ❤
I loved my road trip in The Doctor, but have now sold her. I'm currently looking for my new van to then set off on a 1 / 2 year European trip. Hopefully new videos starting in October so stay tuned. PS: definitely want something that has little more get up and go for hills! ;)

Mines a 1993 Talbot Symphony. Like your top windows, mine are slider ones. Mine's in good nick too and luckily I'm married to an old school mechanic for when things may go wrong! Your layout is completely different to mine. Shows how many layouts they can get out of such a tiny space. You have a nice clean looking van. You've inspired me to do my van tour if the rain ever goes away. I've had it 16 months and not done one yet.

Very excited for you mate! Whatever you do don't buy an automatic gearbox van. If it goes wrong it can cost up to 10k stick with manual I'm sure you probably would anyway. Can't wait to see the reveal 👍
Thank you. I'll definitely be looking at a manual, but the reveal will be a few months away yet unfortunately. I need to save some more pennies as I want to buy as new as I can afford 😬
You need to look at the rules of having a Uk vehicle when you are a Spanish resident. You are lucky you got away with it with your old vehicle

Wow! Binged watched you lol... Love The Doc!! My partner and I bought a Talbot. Ours is the motorhome type. I guess we have spent around a year sorting it. 45k miles on the clock. Last Mot passed with no advisories!! 1989!! It certainly gives us the extra space the Doc doesn't. We also have the power steering upgrade 🤣 can't wait for the next videos mate. Oliver 👍😎
Hey Oliver. Glad you liked the videos. I've actually now sold The Doctor and she's back in the UK. Already looking for my next van which will be bigger like yours so actually a motorhome. I definitely want more space for Koa, a permanent bed and ideally a separate shower 🙏🏼 I'll start some more videos probably around September time as that's hopefully when I'll be hitting the road again. Having said that once I actually view some vans I'll 💯 document it. Enjoy your travels. Rich & Koa.

France is generally 50 euros for the worming tablet up in the north. Maybe 35 in the centre these days. Cheapest I paid was 5 euros in Pamplona and 10 in Berlin.

Dogs in garden protecting the house are the norm ,, they get a big reduction in house insurance if they have a guard dog ! Enjoyed your footage , thanks

The Doctor is a tiny house that I would love to live in seasonally as I travel around the country in spring, summer and/or fall. It is amazing that it was created in 1983. I’ve never seen anything as efficient in the States where I am. I would buy it in a heartbeat. ❤️ Mo in the US

Great video and van, be interesting to see how a 30 year old camper makes it back to the UK, especially as I'm thinking of buying one. A dealer near me was selling an Autosleeper Talbot Express similar to yours a few months ago for £3995 but then changed it to £4995 a few weeks later. The MOT has now ran out and it's still on sale for that price, so he obviously feels justified. But like your's it's in good shape bodywise, so I'll keep following and good luck. 👍
We made it back to the UK no problem at all and she sailed through the MOT so another year on her now 😌 Mine is a Talbot Express Sienna so a rare model. She is fully kitted out and awesome for going off grid as she is totally self sufficient. Hob, grill, oven, hot water, heating, fridge, shower room / WC all the mod cons 😉 When we get home at the end of January I'll actually be selling her as i need something a little bigger now that Koa has grown up. Hello. My wife and I have the exactly the same van. Ours is called Freddy. Ours is a 1992 on a K plate. We have a drive away awning with a pod for sleeping. We are a family of 6 and love the camper life. Heres to seeing many more videos from you.
WOW! I've never seen or heard of another Sienna 🎉 What colour scheme do you have? I also have a drive away awning, but as it's just Koa and I, plus we're moving either every day or every other day we don't use it. Lovely to hear about your van ❤
