Tuba Sightreading (Tot Musica, Six's Music Box, Lost Chair, Sustain ++;)
มุมมอง 38ปีที่แล้ว
Hello, like last semester I was given an instrument that I am new to and that I have about a sixth grade skill level in, and like most semesters school does not give me time to practice and make song covers. I will only have the Tuba for about a week and then I will have to return it. Let me know if you guys would like more sightreading content like this between song covers or if you prefer jus...

I made this piece with Finale and Reaper. I am very new to using a lot of Reaper’s fxs and DAWs in general. I would love any feedback on how it sounds and the differences between listening to this piece on PC and on phones.

Gray's Etude
มุมมอง 16ปีที่แล้ว
This etude is dedicated to the TH-camr GrayStillPlays and, the ridiculous video games and challenges he plays. The piece is for marimba and is split into three sections that each have their own odd challenge. In the first section the player has to cross their fourth mallet over their first so that their outside mallets become their inside mallets. The second section requires that the player cha...
Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Openings

Thank you to the person who suggested I revisit the first opening! I am open to playing old songs as long as I can add something to them. In this case it was the adding the second opening, but in the future it could include other things like playing a longer version of a song. Bro, I sang along the whole time. I love this song and just Mili as a whole.
SO COOOOOOL!
Refreshing performance. I love the inspiration your inspiration gives me. Seeing someone passionately play, especially on what seems to me like a rather obscure and complex instrument, a song I like is giving me life. Keep playing anything, Mili, Ado, any other song you'd like, I'm sure you'll perfect it.
@@srgmatrix6970 Thank you!

Really nice one. I liked that, but want to give a feedback about. I think that, you should probably raise volume when you recording(i have some troubles with headphones, so it can be problem on my side, but can't check it rn), but it could lead to really loud parts when sound resonate, so recommend to check if you could somehow evade resonances when they are not needed(i haven't tried playing this instrument, so can't say if it really possible, but still, if you manage to do it, probably it would sound slightly better, also it probably can be fault of microphone which can't operate with resonances without distortion of audio, but, once again, I'm not smart guy in that field). But, in the end, execution is great, keep it up!
Thanks for the feedback! For this song I ended up having to turn the volume down because I was peaking on my mics. When you say resonances, are you talking about how the chords sound or how the notes ring? I should be able improve that by adjusting the program my mics use for recording.
@@evocableobject4722by resonance I meant parts where sound kinda overlap, creating high volume sound which leads to peaks on mic. But after rehearing the realm of darkness part, I think that all resonance thing was over exaggerated by me, but on 3:44 the last chord created it really clearly and made mic distort a bit
@@ntern2162 Yeah I hear it. I think I hit that last chord a little harder than what the mics could handle.
Truly the ideal opening
I got recommended this while listening to Blood Type by Kino, not sure what that means but I’m sure it’s something
Cool

The talent of Limbus/Mili fans never ceases to astonish me. Ferociously well composed and played cover. And to hear you'll be attempting Tot Musica, dude, you'd be legendary in playing more Ado songs, if you want my recommendation.
