Under Pressure | John 12:1-11 | Tomas Belchior
Last week, Pastor Jeremy spoke about hope in the midst of loss and suffering. Hope, a lifeline as we walk with Jesus every day, is like a fire: it takes work to keep it warm in us as we face whatever comes tomorrow. At the Thanksgiving meal given to Jesus after Lazarus' resurrection, Mary lavishly shows her gratitude, while Judas rebukes her actions. Jesus' response to Judas not only reveals the condition of Judas' heart but also shows us how, like Mary, we can keep hope warm in our hearts as we face tomorrow. Meanwhile, the disciples are about to watch Jesus walk toward his arrest and death.

Jesus Anointed | John 12:1-11 | Chris Zeller

The incredible work of Jesus in our lives is not something only to be thankful for privately, but that ought to elicit a response in our lives that the world around us can see. On many occasions throughout Jesus’ earthly ministry, we see people respond to his teaching and his work….in a variety of ways. The story of Jesus’ anointing lines up two of these responses side by side, that of Mary and...
Sacrificing for Jesus | John 12:1-11 | Mike Pronk

In John chapter 12, the narrative highlights a dinner, where Mary anoints Jesus' feet with expensive perfume, signifying her love and sacrifice for Him. This act contrasts with Judas Iscariot's selfish motives, showcasing the difference between authentic sacrifice and self-serving actions. The passage invites readers to reflect on their own devotion to Jesus, emphasizing that true followers dem...

The Gospel of John has held a special place in the heart of the church for thousands of years, drawing millions into a relationship with Jesus and deepening their faith. While its mission is clearly outlined in chapter 20, the richness of the book can’t be fully appreciated by reading it quickly. It’s crafted to slowly reveal its meaning as one listens, reads, thinks deeply, and discusses it wi...

Isn't it interesting that the Spirit as he used his disciple John instructed him to write this gospel in a non cronological order? Why do you suppose he did that? Out of the four gospels the gospel of John stands out as being most believers favor one, why? For GOD; so loved, full stop! The father, the son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit chose to love us and not condemn us but, out of his grace he will redeem everyone who believes that a crusified man can be comdemed to die a sinner death yet has paid the sin debt for all time if a soul such as our has faith it has happened for us all those years ago. In that God did that he did it as much for himself as he did it for his creation, the joy of his heart the people who realizes they are the benifactors of such a ausome grace that covers our sins. As people purchases by his and purified by that same blood a some day soon we will see him as he is in his kingdom, eternal. Jesus was God come down his name was Emanuel and as he said, today in their presents the scriptures were fulfilled. Where God is is where his kingdom resides even in earthen vessels or these hearts and souls of ours. The question is this! Do I or anyone believe God for his great name and kingdom chose me? If in your heart, mind call it our souls adhear to this call, word, because of our Lord we are born now of the Spirit and changed some how fundimentally to be as if we had been born again through his love to become his child and joint aires with Jesus, Lord of all. All praise to God for a gift that removes our debt as far as the east is from the west where his kingdom who he is is at the center where we stand in front of his thrown.

1 Peter 4: 7-9. Matt 9:13,Matt12:7, Hosea 6:6. God has been screaming to love others and to do it in the power or his Spirit. It was fitting that the Lord's prayer was quoted. Read 1 John 5. DO you ask of Jesus? Are you in his will? This is not testing him, it is testing if your right with him! Your right if you humbly ask if your wish is your plan or his. If he says or compells you to continue in prayer then don't be supprised what God may do. If you can't see the wisdom in fearing the Lord you haven't even fulfilled the first commandment which is still fully in force. Wine is wine, what the wine is put into that must be born again, made new.

That I would be a water jar, full of new wine. The best wine from and of God the Son. While we are thusly full, drunk in the fullness of wine. I would be stagered by the love of God. He lifts me/ us as we make straight level paths for others to follow as we go home.

Thanks for this word. Yet, young brother there is a continuity of spirituality from Genesis even to this moment. Through our tongues we create a unity or not and that is the heart of the matter. If we are of and in Christ his kingdom resides within us. Our mind set or hearts reliance is dependant upon a singularity of apprehension and appreciation of the creative purpose of God! His purpose is to be the undisputed Lord of everything, subjugating desention, sin in his realm throughout all time. For mankind spirituality we are blessed to hear and understand his word the truth. How so, he himself sealed the deal to save us through an unexpected action in this creation that rang the bells in heaven. The spiritual world has been impeached by faith in the atonement of Jesus and his blood springing forth as grace to believers. There were times when we are lonely because the filament is incomplete, we have not followed Jesus into the fulness of kingdom life. Yet looking at the gospel as a interpretation of that life and what that life may mean. It means God supplies everything to his glory and our unending praise! The trail is our condition right now. Can we express the love of God over coming our reality? In the church, his body, we have all the means to win yet look at what the flesh does with it. People stumble forgetting the Spirit that quicker our souls to believe. That is the main reason we cannot respect others because we have become deceived in the flesh to lust after it, not after God. When will the absolute truth be spoken from a pulpit? That the tears of Jesus would stain our faces that All would shun the love of worldly endeavors and deseat that we have entangled ourselves in. Repent of it and sin no more.
