Indiana Farm Boys
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 25 ม.ค. 2023
My brother and I are the 3rd generation farmers in NW Indiana. My grandpa moved to the farm in 1960 and my dad and uncle took over in 1990. We milk cows, bale hay and straw, grain farm and everything that goes with it. We will do our best to bring everyone along while we do day to day things. Hope everyone enjoys.
Done with soybean harvest
Finally done with bean harvest

Hi there would it be best to lay a big tarp down first when unloading?
@JamesKubil we did end up putting a tarp under it. Definitely easier clean up

How do you heat your shop? Beats the heck out of having trying to work outside.
@stevecobb7844 we have the heat in the floors. It's a lot nicer than working outside
Good job
Nice machine. It would have been good to see your tall frame sitting on the lawn tractor.

Find somebody with a 3 D printer
@ronron7187 if I could find someone to print some, I'd buy some
2 seperate tool boxes. 1 for standard, 1 for metric. I love it. Doing that ASAP
@thankfullyredeemedmaderigh7436 It is definitely easier to find things, plus the extra storage is really nice

How do you like ag bag vs a silage pit?
@richardjohnson5883 we don't have any issues with bags unless something pokes a hole in them. Then we have a little feed get spoiled. We never used a pit but we thing we would have more feed spoil because we can't use it fast enough
Nice job

Good job and Merry Christmas. Hope you’re having fun in Georgia.
@donwolfe9411 Merry Christmas. We are having fun
Is this feed for the milking group, brother? And can you write what you added to it? Thank you.
@emirhangokgoz1272 Yes, it's for the milk cows. We put in wet corn gluten, alfalfa hay, some straw, corn silage, haylage, ground corn, and minerals
Nice job
@@donwolfe9411 thanks

Sure we could use them

You guys are awesome. Honestly I think your videos are lacking as of lately. I still give them thumbs up. I have a lot of admiration for your hard working, get it done attitude. Any parent would be proud to have raised sons that have turned out to be as fine young men that you guys are.
Ps ...get a haircut.
@stevecobb7844 thank you. It's tough at times to make a good video and get stuff done. I didn't realize how much extra time it takes to film. I do what I can on making a video
Good job
Could you fill the gap between the slabs with a spacer board?
@Coop-h1d we are trying to come up with something. That might work pretty good
Nice and clean
Looks great

Thanks a lot. Always good to hear from you. Everything is very expensive nowadays. We try to do a little upgrading every year just to keep things going. We are hoping to get the bags out of the mud next year. Thanks again
