The longest train I’ve seen here in the UK was 2526 feet/770 metres/2860 tonnes, powered by 2 locomotives. Just a small train set compared to this one at The Loop 😳.

Idk about anyone else but that drone was just as awesome as the train! lol the range on it and the skill, thanks for showing us that as well. What kind of drone did you use to film this?

Back in the 1970's I hopped a freight train to Bakersfield in Mohave since I was stuck hitchhiking and I was amazed at this place. Now, almost 50 years later, I live about 20 miles west of the loop, just outside of Bakersfield in a wide spot in the road called Edison. The tracks pass right past my house. When I'm laying in bed I can feel the rumble as the trains pass by.

1972. I worked those docks in a Michigan front end loader, a D9 Caterpillar dozer and had my small front end loader picked up and lowered into the ore ships to pull the iron ore from the inner corners of the hold into the center of the hatch so the unloaders could reach it. “Old school” unloading before the advent of self unloading ships. And yes, I walked the deck of the Edmund Fitzgerald more than once. Oh yeah, I remember.
