God divorces but does not seek another.....dont use this as a reason to divorce, and remarry...
what is the meaning of ....not everyone can receive this.....who are they and what is their course of action that is required...
Yes there are many verses like this one. I don't know if we can discern who these people are or what they need to do.

Jesus violated the Torah, the Scriptures, when he made this announcement. You didn't need to divorce a wandering spouse. You KILLED that person per the Torah. If you didn't find her with a man, your wife would be subjected to Levitical abuse by being forced to drink an obviously lethal concoction and forced to abort a pregnancy. THEN you threw her away unless you could catch the guy who did it and stone them both with your buds from the neighborhood. So having violated the Torah, your Jesus made himself ineligible to be sinless (1 John 3:4) and therefore blemished for sacrifice. By the way, the Passover lamb you claim he is was NOT a sin sacrifice whatsoever. There WAS no sacrifice for intentional sin in the entire bible.

@@elaineeike5363 The short answer? From Romans 5:18 and 11:32 we know God has forgiven all men, not some. Before Jesus came the Jews believed God only loved them, that he hated the Gentiles and the Gentiles were completely left out of God’s kingdom. But that was never the case and Jesus corrected that error. In Romans 9 Paul is giving all his winning one-liners against his unbelieving Jewish objectors and is reversing all of the identity roles back around on their heads to prove how wrong their some-chosen-some-not-chosen theology was. He’s not saying God loved Jacob but hated Esau, he’s saying if you believe God hated Esau then how do you like it now that you’re clearly the ones who are Esau? He’s not saying God did make some vessels for wrath, he’s saying what if, as you Jews like to say, God is the potter and he can make some vessels fitted for destruction, and you Jews are those ones?! This sermon suggests to me the path opposite to the path of idolatry. To our eyes, being in the dark, anything that shines is gold. On the contrary, light allows us to distinguish "gold" from other shiny things that come from the Word of "the Law and the Prophets." May what happened to the waiting people of God not happen to us, without really knowing what they were waiting for, so that when the expected one arrived they did not recognize him. The question may be, do we really know who we are waiting for? Who is he, what does he do and how does he confirm it? So Christ is: the beloved Son of the Father, Son in whom he delights, Son who commands us to LISTEN. Prophesied in Deuteronomy 18, 15. Idols: financial success, influence, family, education The cloud = The glory of God The cross = The expiatory sacrifice This is very illuminating. The fear of carrying the cross is that it will destroy us, but if it is discovered that It is just the opposite, the only way that sin does not end us is to carry the cross, no matter how bitter the syrup is, we are going to drink it, no matter how insecure a board is, a log on the high seas, we are going to cling to it. he. Our glory is in following Jesus, the condition that he places on us is to carry the cross every day in order to follow him.

Carol and Nancy were some of my earliest friends along wih Sheryl. Our parents were friends before we were born, and we spent our childhood and teenage years in Sunday School, church picnics, youth group, winter outings to Echo Valley, beach trips to Lake Michigan, our baptisms and later on our weddings. Each of our parents were instrumental in forming our faith and we shared a wonderful upbringing We each moved to other states and lost contact with each other - but never our memories. Many years later Carol, Sheryl and I took a road trip together, which rekindled our friendship and gave us new memories. Carol and I worked together at Covenant Christian School. I remember helping Carol move one year and she gave me a tea pot, which brings me fond memories of her. We have not seen each other for many years, but have followed each other on Facebook. I am grateful that Cheryl has faithfully given me updates about Carol's last weeks and her passing. I was honored to join so many of her friends and family in prayer. I pray that God will minister His comfort toyou moment by moment until you meet again. Thank you for posting this beautiful celebration of Carol's homegoing.
