Cleveland Fire Department Engine 2 Roll Over | Full Documentary
มุมมอง 150K4 ปีที่แล้ว
On the morning of April 30, 2020, Cleveland Fire Department's Engine 2 encountered severe standing water on the roadway while responding to a fire alarm activation. The truck hydroplaned and flipped onto its side. The injuries sustained by the crew were mostly minor, and this documentary sheds light on the lessons learned that day, in the hopes to help educate other departments on safety. About...
Im so happy you all are okay the good Lord assigned you the best guardian angels....each of you are heroes and Knights in shining armor and as i was taught as i passed this same valuable and instilled in every one of my 6 children...FIREMEN AND FIREWOMEN ARE TO BE RESPECTED BECAUSE THEY LAY THEIR OWN LIVES ON THE LINE FOR US WHEN WE CALL ON THEM THEY ARE READY TO TAKE ON WHATEVER COMES THEIR WAY AND THEY GO TO BATTLE TO STAND BETWEEN US AND DANGER IF U SEE SOME FIREMEN IN LINE AT THE GROCERY STORE PICK UP THEIR GROCERY BILL DROP BY THE STATION WITH SOME GIFT CARDS AND HAVE YOUR KIDS OR GRANDKIDS MAKE CARDS FOR THEM AND DRAW PICTURES AND WRITE THEM A NOTE TO LET THEM KNOW HOW MUCH YOU APPRECIATE THEM FOR ALL THAT THEY DO EVERY DAY ON THE JOB AND LET THEM KNOW NOT ALL SUPERHEROES WEAR CAPES...ALMOST EVERY SUPERHERO WE HAVE SEEN WEAR FIRE DEPT HATS AND RIDE AROUND IN RED FIRE TRUCKS !
Iam very happy you all are OK be safe.....🇺🇸 🚒
That is so amazing that no one got hurt I pray forall Fireman and firefighter woman too your guarualldian angel was looking out for
Jesus... by watching just the first 5 minutes of this, you'd think they all died and took a group of kids crossing a crosswalk with them. A fire truck hydroplaned and everyone involved walked away without injuries. Why was this edited to make the viewer feel like they were watching a catastrophic reminder of a mass fatality incident?
Could you have made this video any more annoying to watch? The content is important and definitely needs to be shared but the constant switching between storytellers is totally distracting, unnecessary and annoying. Yet annother production that thinks it's music video instead of a documentary.
They don't sound like the most intelligent folks, not sure how this is a Chief, an officer and an engineer. I'm baffled at how our tax dollars pay for a bunch of cops that don't know the law and a bunch of firefighters that can't friggin drive
One comment struck home. "Chief, we weren't flyin." Truth right there, brothers. I'm sure you will understand what this means. I lived this life years ago, made Captain. I get it. Boy, I'm here to tell ya, this sounds like one serious Salt of the Earth Chief.
God was definitely in control that day . He kept them all safe . Thank you Jesus for saving these Firefighters !
Firefighters are human. Navy (20 years retired Submarine Qualifed). Safety Supervisor. Accidents happen can happen to anyone at anytime. We would investigate the acident. Gather all information to the cause of the incident Develop a after action report. Develop training to prevent the incident from happening again. No matter the quality of the training...Humans be Human! This is not the first Engine Roll Over nor will it be the last! Thank You for being on the Thin Red Line! As long as you go home with all your body parts...it is a good Day!
Nobody’s dead get the fuck outta here 🤣🤣🤣
So thankful no one was killed or Injured!!!
Thats my county, I live in Smithfield so sad to hear about this
Sounds like a code 3 siren nothing special
Pretty cool and interesting video but it’s way to dramatic.
Was the driver disciplined or fired it was an accident caused by an act of God Ihope he did not get in trouble
I'm so excited that everyone is ok
I'm so excited that everyone is ok
As a former volunteer firefighter here in the state of texas, I'm so glad to hear that the crew was not injured seriously, just mostly minor entries and I hope all have recovered and are now back on the job. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS, AND ALWAYS BE CAREFUL WHEN RESPONDING TO THE FIRES!!
Amen🙏
Corny seatbelt Hollywood produced video? Hahaha!
I’m glad they’re ok but then calling an Engine a truck is killing me. Engines carry water. Trucks carry ladders
All except those pesky quints.
@@dougbarr5703 Yeah with their 300 gallon water tank lol
That’s what happens when you don’t pay attention and drive too fast for conditions
Not Cleveland, Ohio, that's for sure.
once the water shifts in the tank of a pumper it's tough to overcome that momentum and recover control of the apparatus especially in inclement weather.
THANK YOU LORD !🇺🇲
First thing he said was “chief we weren’t flying!” = Chief we were flying. Lol.
You have to get to the scene of the emergency. In this case, it sounds like they hit a washed out section of road. In the rain, standing water is deadly, it multiplies the danger of hydroplaning. In mere feet, you can go from safe to sliding. Honestly, it's no laughing matter.
Cleveland is just 3 hours away from Buffalo. The difference in accents is night and day. Back to the subject, I’m glad these boys walked away to live and serve another day!
Cleveland Fire Department is near Clayton, North Carolina
One of the roll overs we had was a result of over pressure on the tires. Yes, I know this video is wet street related, but ours was dry daytime paved street. We had received 8 new pumpers all of same design built by a major american mfg., but they were of primarily lightweight aluminum, not steel as had always been. Our standard air pressure was 120# front and rear duals so thats what was used, without subtracting the newer weight loss. First thing noticed was fish tailing on turns, then the accident where a car ran a red light requiring a sudden maneuver to avoid collision and the pumper began to rebound out of control from left curb to right curb of street until it rolled with much damage but minor injuries. All were removed from service while investigation was made, which found out instead of 120# we should be using 90#. By lowering pressure it put more tire rubber flat on the road. Expensive way to find this out.
Did the driver recieve a loss of control ticket? He deserves one , like anybody in the public would.
Seatbelts do save lives no doubt about it.
But did you die!!!!!!!!!!
the accident investigation was very telling on this... look at the photos... all 4 fireman had skidmarks a mile long in their underwear
This is just an Ad for Insurance. How Silly. Blame everything but the careless driver. Typical
Why would someone make a video like this. Would it make more sense to have the guys in one room and talk about the accident as a group. One here one there another one in the back field one in his office what the fk kind of video making is this.
Yawnnnnnn
Driver driving too fast in bad weather.... Totally avoidable.
How many fire engines have YOU driven..
This has more drama than Drive to Survive.
“I remember a pine tree coming toward us.” Those darn moving pine trees.
Glad everyone was ok 🙏
Thank you for this info.
Defensive Driving,,lol, who told him to say that?! did he take the defensive driving course or did Cracker Jacks supply the degree!?! pathetic
This happened on my birthday
So, did they dispatch a replacement engine to the original fire call?
Glad your alright I'm from nc too the triad
I was waiting for them to say, "We couldn't find whatshisname" and he's underneath the truck or like impaled on a hydrant. But nah, these dudes are all cool. And they thanked their insurance company. Wtf even is this? Next time show me a video of a Fire Engine drifting, getting squirrly and rolling over, instead of a Christopher Nolan flick where its a giant confusing build up to nothing.
a friggin commercial
This is incredible that everyone survived with no injuries!
So it was just an accident. WTH ? You would think everyone died. Come on guys, your predecessors would be ashamed for you making such a big deal.
15 minutes can put you in good hands with the name your price tool like a good neighbor.
I saw this and was like wtf, I don't remember this. Then watching I realized it's fake Cleveland, not real Cleveland. This video was awfully dramatic. They make it sound like 20 firefighters and a baby died...
I knew right away it was a fake Cleveland... but I was still wrong. I thought it was fake Cleveland, Tennessee. Never heard of the even faker Cleveland, North Carolina. I know Denver is in NC too... guess they have trouble naming towns.
Even ONE DEATH is heartbreaking. I HATE comments like this one!
@@dianeangle8665 oh goodness, we don't wanna offend Diane... Death is always sad, the comment doesn't celebrate death, it's making a point about over exaggeration.
Wait, no one died?
Only the pride of the driver.
I thought someone died they way the video was produced.
right?
