Here you have a little bit of Monastario becouse why not? Britt put a lot of heart, effort end energy into this character (antagonist we loooove to love) so let's appreciate him (or both of them, Britt and Enrique).

A very young Audrey with a much older Fred as romantic lead is so off...this was socially acceptable?...strange....i don't think it was! Hollywood was so weird..even back then
I think it was more of a business decision. They were like "OK, we want a lot of people to see the movie. Younger people want to see young actors. Who do we have? Audrey Hepburn! But we also want the older people to come, we need the movie to be successful as it can be. So, what do we do? Let's have Fred Astaire a lot of people love him!" It's just a theory ;) but I don't think it was always the worst reasons to have actors with big age difference :)
