    MJ was (and prolly still is) hyper competitive. One of his college teammates at north carolina caught him cheating his mother at cards to win. The guy HAD TO WIN. And all his peers say he was the worst trash talker ever. And he held grudges.

    You are right he was disrespectful. He not only wanted to win but he wanted your heart and your soul and your pride. They all knew it and they were all intimidated by the fear of being posterized with chin-nuts.

    I thought proximus seemed like a decent Ape who just wanted to build on ape society the roman empire was successful and lasted for years he wanted the same

    • @bgrey55
      @bgrey55 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Brandon, thanks for the comment. I did like Proximus but I feel he wanted to rule with an iron fist like the leaders from Raman times also from the past. The movie gave him a lot of human negative traits like wanting to dominate over another species and wanting more power like opening that door to get to those weapons. He also had a big time God complex. But I did Like him though. But I love Koba from the previous movie better.

    • @brandonmizon2887
      @brandonmizon2887 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I somewhat agree with what you're saying, but I believe in a post apocalyptic world harsher/tougher measures tend to be more successful, the world as it is today is only this way because we have already made it past brutal empires and dictatorships

      I'm also looking forward also for the next one but if you think about it. why would they go through all that stress. I'm talking about humans. To get that hardrive just to start up system that was made to listen to space radio noise. The technology to speak to another person across the globe was made in the 1800's it's called short wave radio. All they needed to do was to find a radio system that had it. But maybe it was more than they led on to what they wanted to do.

    • @azaz6951
      @azaz6951 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @tysmoviereviews5702 I believe they got that hard drive to see if there are any other humans alive in USA. So they can connect with them and rebuild civilization

    rookie year, 4th in MVP voting. was second in MVP voting 3 straight years followed by winning the MVP 3 straight years then another second place. founding member of the 50 40 90 club and had a 4 year stretch where he averaged 50 40 90. all against the best the 80s had to offer. it's a hell of a story involving saving the game.

  • @littlenonni75
    @littlenonni75 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    But who cares if he would be the 96'MJ the reality is he beat him and the excuse of MJ being a rookie you don't give that excuse to all the players just the one's you like. Bird in his rookie season took celtics to a 32 win improvement. That isn't when he had fully stacked team. So i feel that those are excuses to explain away someone's legacy. MJ was great, and so was larry bird.

    As great as MJ was…only 3 players had 3 straight MVP’s…Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, and Larry Bird…just read that for 8 straight years Bird was 1 or 2 in the voting…burnBird was also voted Coach of the Year and later Executive of the Year for his Indiana Pacers..but my original intent was to say how great Wilt was…I’m from Kansas…and Wilt went to KU…but he still has about 73 records still in the books…in 1962…the year he had 100 points in Hershey Pennsylvania…his average for the entire year was 50.2 points a game…with about 27 rebounds per game…when they complained about his scoring…the next year he led the league in assists…played every minute of every game and never fouled out of a game..and during the 1971-72 season while with the Lakers…they had a winning streak of 33 wins..

    On the comparison of the 30 year olds, I further researched and offered the following....Free throw %, 3-point %, Steals per game, and Blocks per game.... Bird......91% FT, 41% 3-pt%, 1.8 SPG, .9 BPG. Lebron.....71% FT, 30.9% 3-pt%, 1.6 SPG, .3 BPG. Further evidenced that Bird is a better all around player than.Lebron.

    Great reaction (I subbed and hit the notification button), and I appreciate your willingness to keep an open mind. That said, imho you can't begin to get any kind of real feel for Bird without heavy exposure to his passing game. For this I would really urge you to react to "Larry Bird Greatest Passer of All Time (re-edit with additional footage). I also think an important element of seeing who Bird was as a player, and his unbelievable work ethic, commitment to gutting out even the most ridiculously intense pain, and his love for and dedication to the game is watching "Five Times Larry Bird Was Injured but Refused to Quit"-- you really have to see this to believe it. I know you mentioned his love of the game, and I was glad to see you got that about him, but believe me, it's on another level that we mortals cannot even begin to comprehend. I think you will really enjoy, a lot, seeing and reacting to these vids...and I think it will probably be good for the channel as well, because, well, you know how dedicated we Bird lovers are!
