I remember watching one of those doctors series in TV years ago (it may have been ER?). In the scene a young, new doctor starts his first shift in charge, without senior doctors supporting him, here comes this patient with some bad wounds, unconscious and dying basically. The nurses, all veterans, start barking orders and administering aid to the dying dude. The young doctor panics and screams “somebody call a doctor!”. Both veteran nurses look at him and one of them barks back “YOU are the doctor!!” … That was really funny!

I know it doesn't fit perfect, but a few hours ago the doorbell rung at 11am after a night shift, I groggy opening the door. The helper (renovating) who didn't show up 5 times to collect his money, wanting to collect his money. Me: "My Man and you meet at 3pm. I saw the texts. " "but I want my money now." "I don't have that amount here. 3pm. I had night shift. I need sleep." "I will ring the bell until I get my money." Me closing the door in his face, settling myself for fitfull sleep. Then the tired brain did a thing! I can't disconnect call bells, but this is MY home I totally CAN disconnect the doorbell. He is afraid of dogs, so he won't try anything else. I sleept like a baby, don't know when he went away, for all I care he could stand in front of the door until 3. (My Man just woke me up at 4 - he again didn't show up. I mean why agree on a time, when you decide to do whatever you want (same problem when he worked no show, late show, when he billed hours one hour with us where 3 hours, a no show was 2 hours - good we documented everything after like a week of no/late shows)
