The season 4 OST is immaculate, I love the tribute to the french touch music scene (Justice, Daft Punk, Kavinsky...) 😻 I'm a native French speaker and fluent in English, so I understand the subtleties of both languages. Here are the correct lyrics and their translation for "C'est absurde" (partly corrected with the help of the Iseu-T advertising video: th-cam.com/video/IZFLu6qtWis/w-d-xo.html). Absorbe, ce que c’est, monde, monde, monde, pour misérables et fortunés. (Absorb, what it is, world, world, world, for destitutes and wealthies) Absorbe, ce que tu désires devenir, c’est ce que tu es. Alors, absorbe, absorbe. (Absorb, what you wish to become, is what you are. So, absorb, absorb.) There is a wordplay on “absorbe” (fr) and “absurd” (en), which are very similar, hence the title of the song “C'est Absurde”. It seems to me that the theme of this song has to do with the absurdity of the world, ruled by money and plagued by inequality (see the start of the Iseul-T advert with “WORK. BILLS. MISERABLE. SKIP THE GRIND."). When in the end, we're all equal and similar on a deeper level (end of advert with “BE ANYBODY. BE EVERYBODY. BE ISEUL-T”).

Season 2 and 3 had such goated soundtracks. Ironically I played a whole bunch of season one and then skipped 2 - 3. It's crazy to me that Embark told their music producer "Oh yeah none of this actually plays in game it's all just in the menu. So a lot of people probably won't hear the full version of these tracks." And the dude still went crazy with them anyways

I remember this event started very shortly after the games launch. I was pleasantly surprised to launch my game to the Christmassy theme because I did not expect them to have an event so early in the game’s lifespan. Havent played in months, might need to revisit it.
