@DS9megafan I agree, i love both versions so much, I'm really happy with the picard releases, it definitely brings hope for the rest of the line. @smallvillefan72 I'm the same, all in! I've noticed these figures look a lot better than the official pictures, even this picard head sculpt looks way better in hand, so I'm not too worried about crusher. I didn't know that, thanks! I will keep an eye out. I hope it's warf too but it could be Riker as he's been finished for a while. I also heard guinan and Wesley crusher are almost ready so they could be announced. I'm curious to see Troi too.

@ode2toy619 It's definitely striking and am glad I got this version too. To be honest, it's going to be very different from your QMX one because it's already very different from the exo-6 duty uniform, it had a lot of shelf presence too which I don't think comes through in videos. I fear with all these exo-6 TNG figures, they just balloon on the used market and I think the duty version will go up in price a lot buy this one might stay lower.

Very good question, there is articulation. Hips, ankles, wrists, shoulders, neck, jaw, I think waist too.

@@TALON80s Ah okay, sounds like a Wolverine Sideshow did a few years ago then (that one had swappable arms - instead of articulation).

@ode2toy619 oh interesting, I think with this one they just wanted to hide the joints on elbows and knees, what better way than not adding them 🤣 I find you don't really need much with this character really, I can't imagine him doing crazy poses.

@TK421Collectibles Thanks dude and thank you for your support. I agree. My wife laughed at me because i changed him into Darmok and 2 days later hes back in this uniform again haha. Can't have him in anything but the OG. I love these so much, if I could afford the space and money I would get loads of Star Trek figures but got to stick to my favorite, TNG. They are bringing out new original series figures soon and I'm so tempted. My advice would be, if you want these, get them now because they always go up in price by at least 30% on the used market and they are cheap compared to hot toys when they release and they don't do re-issues. As the creator says, once they're gone, they're gone.

@TK421Collectibles Thanks, someone else had the same feedback, I feel like the pictures haven't done it justice. It seems to be the case with all of the TNG figures so far, the sculpts are always better when they arrive. Do you think you will ever collect any Star Trek figures?

@@TK421Collectibles I would highly recommend them, if you do, get them directly from exo-6 it will come months before retailers and much cheaper to buy on release, the used market is crazy for them.

@Ka_T_ya Thanks, I agree, I think there's nothing wrong with mixing brands in your collection, in my star wars collection I have a mix of Hot toys, sideshow and customs. As long as they fit well together then I think it works. It's difficult because there are certain things I prefer from each brand but in the case of Gandalf I definitely prefer the Asmus sculpt and the clothing yet I think the accessories and base are nicer on the inart. @ yep 😀. And I don’t know why people get so triggered when we say we prefer Asmus Gandalf , like they have to convince us we are wrong … Not only the Asmus clothes are more screen accurate , the headsculpt is great ! I’m not saying InArt is bad I just don’t see it as a worth upgrade . As for the base … They look nice , but honestly , I’m not even using the InArt base on Aragorn because I don’t trust the magnets . So , I’m using a simple LOTR Asmus crotchgrabber. Not only it fits better with the rest , but like that I have a piece of mind I’m not risking damaging that overpriced but easily damageable figure . Once again , cheers for your great collection ! 😊

@@Ka_T_ya Yeah, I don't get it either, personally I prefer Asmus, i like some of the stuff inart is doing but people talk about inart as if they are gods and like you said, they really push it like you need convincing, its all very strange. I think people should enjoy what they like and be open to other people's opinions or tatse but for some reason people get very argumentative, opinionated and pushy about inart and I dont know why. Almost like if you don't agree with them you must be screamed at until you do. I was curious how strong those magnets were, I guess the asmus stand would also make it blend well with the Asmus figures too. Thanks for watching! 😁

@ it’s the cult mentality and brand loyalty . And I think people just love to diss on some brands like Asmus , which have been the sole provider for LOTR 1/6 figures until now , so us LOTR fans have been appreciating them for a long time . While InArt as a daughter company of Queen Studios has a lot of fanboys , who are not really LOTR fans but would buy anything because it’s InArt , hate on anything else , and wanna feel justified for their often overpriced options , by just hating on Asmus , HT or even JND. Yeah , it’s just a blind brand loyalty and biases created on hype in the community , imo.

@Ka_T_ya I don't think I could have put it better Myself, I see that with hot toys too, unfortunately people can be very easily led and although many companies make great products including Asmus and inart, I don't think it's right to try and push a person's strong preference on other people, we should all just like what we like and be kind and supportive to each other.

@jays_toycollectionuk I actually live in Canada so I can't comment on the uk charges but here If I remember correctly it's been a mix, there are times when there have been no duties and times when I've ordered from them and it was between $50 CAD - $70 CAD charges at the post office but no idea what they would be with royal mail I'm afraid, sorry.

@Captain_Fordo77 The new greedo will have a different body, they changed the bodies they use years ago I think. This one was delicate, these old bodies could break easily and on mine, the ratchet joins are scary stiff, I don't want to bend the knees incase i snap it. Other articulation points feel fine. To be fair, I wouldn't judge the new one bssed on this one, just because its so old that everytying in the new version will be different. Thanks, glad you liked it 👍🏻

@@Irish_Pub good question, the short answer is no. I want the Aragorn but missed the opportunity to buy it unfortunately. I personally don't actually like their version of Gandalf so I won't be picking that one up.

@@TALON80s The one I've seen is Sideshow, I think it's from the very early days of them holding the licence. I'm very tempted but not sure if I should pull the trigger...

@@TK421Collectibles Yeah I got him late too, not long after he came out, maybe a year or less and his price was going mental. We happened to find a store that still had one left for regular price and also had a sale on so got him a bit cheaper. Before that, we had the real action heroes version that was a collaboration with sideshow, this blew it out of the water!

Unfortunately not, the Zuckass is mega money on the second hand market, can't justify that but honestly from videos I've seen, it's not very good, I don't think I would buy it either way. Yeah dude, it would be so cool to get a new Bossk, Dengar I can't see being too different, if they did a 2.0 of this figure, I imagine the paint and head material would be the main differences.
