The workshop focuses on integrating AI into research, referencing a survey that indicated participants had limited experience with AI tools but expressed interest in literature reviews and data analysis. It highlighted the significance of ethical considerations and practical applications of AI in research workflows, aiming to equip attendees with the necessary knowledge and tools. Dr Hamis Juma detailed the structure of effective prompts for research writing, emphasizing the influence of context and audience on prompt formulation, and underscored the importance of adhering to referencing styles.
