Inserting a hose down the drain and then stuffing plastic bags around the hose to create a water tight seal above the hose. the pressure of the water builds up inside the drain and pops the blockage out.

This was my first visit to this job in summer 2021. a lovely big garden with lots of fruit trees and interesting specimens. i’v been called in to bring it under control. Believe it or not, it was here that a Cicada landed on me. i didn’t even know they lived in uk let alone London. if only i had been fast enough with the camera i would have got a shot of it.

I run a full time gardening business so I got this petrol shredder as I wanted the portability and extra power to get through the bigger sticks. If you only plan on using it at home then the electric one might do the job. Keep it sharp and it will shred any green waste. @@jeromeitzler thanks! I’m looking to buy this. Any limitations with it? Any details on how efficient it is with petrol and also how much use you get before needing to change the blades?
@@confidentsage. It’s really efficient actually. Because it’s a small engine I suppose. The blades are really hard wearing as long as you only put in fresh, un soiled branches that haven’t been sitting around for too long. Wouldn’t be able to give you any specifics on time and blade wear. I would always recommend getting the absolute biggest chipper you can get. The bigger the hopper the better. Honestly for its size it’s a great choice but I still feel like I’m playing with a toy with certain types of material. You want something that sucks all suitably sized material in. It’s not safe shoving stuff in with your hand. 😅

How would this product do with raked Oak tree leaves in the Fall (i.e. not attached to branches)? The product does seem to be not fully thought out in terms of exit strategy. It is begging for that optional chute - but that may be inadequate for mulch unless there is some additional vacuum assist (possibly mechanically sourced from the motor).
your better off mowing the leaves a few times. they dont stuff in that well tbh. forest master have a nee model with the option for a shorter exit shute.
@@jeromeitzler Thx. I ended up with the mowing method - a few passes to mulch them. Then, if needed, use of a Abletotech mower bag to remove the reduced remainder.

Hello mate, how you getting on with this machine now? I’m thinking of picking one up myself at some point!
Make sure you buy the ratchet socket they sell as the bolt head the knifes are held on with are very flat and have thread lock. I made the mistake of using a cheap socket that didn’t fit properly. Also Iv now cut the shoot to half the length so that I can fit a bucket underneath. That’s likely a warranty void though but worth it I think. Feed big stuff into it slowly. Only turn it up to half speed as thats where the most torque is and uses less fuel. if there’s anything eles your wondering about, ask ;).

Are you able to adjust the output chute? Like would it be possible to angle it to go straight into a wheelbarrow?
It only adjusts about 40 degrees up and down. Forest master say they plan to release an output chute accessory that would send it up instead of down.
Also Their previous model sends material upwards
Just buy the previous model the FM6DD which is a superb machine and had the Shute angled properly to chip into barrows or spray into beds. This machine has the daftest exit ever.

@Adam060756 My statement still stands. If you're not into this type of music, then you just don't know what it's about. Which is cool too, I started out with Sabbath too when I was in kindergarten. I had the same attitude as you against growled vocals until something just clicked, you know. It's not meant to be serious music like Maiden or whatever, it's just for a bit of fun. Trust me, these guys don't even expect to get huge, it's all in the underground. As you just proved with your comments.
