Hurtidurga was built by Kempegowda and dates back to the 16th century. The ruins of the fort can still be perceived through the two hills surrounding the village. Shankareshwara temple situated on top of the hill is one of the highlights of this trek. You can experience village life, spot lush greenery all around the hill, and witness the ruins of the old fort.
