Welding is not meant for axles, as its never as strong as the original (Melting of compressed iron). That Axel would properly not hold very long, until it breaks again. Is it worth it? not for this part.

At least they are using throw away carbide tips with the correct feeds and speeds to get the material to chip not string like in a lot of the videos we see on here.
