Short teardrop?
That’s crispy
That exhaust is frkn sick
This is dumb because it sounds like shit on TH-cam don't bother to do music sound quality reviews on a video Just FYI.
Have fun best wishes ❤❤
Hi, I am putting a new amp in my 86 and I would like to do what you did so i can go back to stock. I bought the harness but the wiring diagram link doesn't work. Could you post another link or a copy of the diagram? I would really appreciate it. Thank you
"only because knew someone from the job" should answer your question. To get a job is just about the luck to have the right vibe with the employer for 1\2 an hour and "lie" about what you can do or can not do for the company in an interview. I said "" because I had some employers that appreciated honesty more than others. To get an interview... every single job I had was thru connections. Beside one that I was overqualified for, I found an ad online and they hired me. PS: I like this type of content. I like it so much that I wanna do it myself too in my country. Your much more ahead, i haven't posted anything yet. xD
Hahaha my face did that thing I enjoyed the video thank you for your time ❤
School is not a waste of time no one can't ever take your education away from you
You are not idiot dont say that
What bike is that
Congrats! I had a 2016 in Soul Red, did similar bronze wheels and some bolt on mods. I'm actually going to sell my 718 Cayman to get back into a Miata! Have fun with it!
Thank you bro, I appreciate that!
Hello if you can help me out. I installed this on my 2018 SI, I had to use my OEM Sensor for the intake MAF sensor. I got the code right away for emissions. After I tuned (not sure which tune or what was altered my mechanic added) the light went away for about 2 weeks Today now I have received p-0172 that the car is having running too rich. (Bank 1) My mechanic informed me that they believe it was the waste gate giving me the issues. Any ideas?
You probably installed the race one. That one requires a tune. You should've got the street one
bro stop moving the camera during the sound test. your giving me whiplash and you cant compare the sound as well when your making it inconsistant.
Thank you for this tutorial, mad easy. Can't wait to get my exhaust installed tomorrow to pair along with this sound
Most of this video is good, but it's not safe to run wire through the door hinge.🤔. You could just as easily pull the rubber boot loose on the fire wall above break pedal and run the power wire through, then over to your door area
hope your piston rods dont crack
Oh and my cars silver too. Got tired of seeing black wheels on everything, so went the complete opposite lol
I just ordered the same wheels. 18x8.5 for my 10th gen civic coupe ex 1.5t. Im curious though, why do they say " japan " on them? Arent they made in California?
Where did u wire remote wire too !
Excellent guide ✊🏾 just got mine for my BRZ after being on back order for a few weeks will be using this as reference thanks 🙏🏾
is these speakers 6 3/4'' ?
As a pro auto repair tech, either you live in a rust free area or you had low mileage on that Civic. Most exhaust jobs I've worked on feature a crap ton of rot and rust causing all sorts of issues. Not to mention exhaust manifold bolts that snap off at the cylinder head.
Thanks for the Specs. Truly the best part of the entire video.
The car was idling fine before you tuned it. Sounds like the tuner messed it up.
Where did you get the 30 ft-lb torque spec? MXP does not provide a instruction manual.
Nice video bro. I just got my tein flex z too. Can you give me the height measurement of your front and back coil so i can pre load my tein. Thank you 🫡
I got a CEL the day after I installed one on my 2018 Si. It was for multiple misfires. I put the stock one back one and everything is fine again… 😰. I installed the “street” version.
Did you ever address the issue ?
@@ninth2678he probably got the race intake, that one requires a tune. He should've got the street intake
Thanks
Hi, where I can get ut for 9th gen si ? Thanks
On a scale 1 throw 10 how reliable is it ?
Nobody answered huh
8 if taken care of if not then like a 3
I have one with 48k miles had it for 3 years its cost us almost 20,000 in repairs. Don't expect all of them to be this bad, I suspect ours was particularly bad because it was garage kept for many years (bought it 3 years ago at 27k miles) You'd think that'd be a good thing but for a car like this it's actually bad.
@@n8nwest563what did you guys have to replace?
@@rayschroeder4246 parts for like 4 oil leaks, blown coolant fan, suspension work, and the charge pipe (charge pipe WILL break on every n55, just a question of when)
does it shoot any check engine?
It did on mine. I had to put the stock one back on to stop the codes…
I am not getting this at all I got the frame of the tweeter off now just tryna get the oem tweeter off but I don’t know how there’s no clips or anything to push I don’t see anything I try prying it from the out side it pops out but goes back in im so confused jelp.
Hey man. Did you drop it all the way?
good stuff, for one to change from brand new factory shocks to coilovers , there must be a good reason. what's the current experience comparing the two. esp comfort and handling, which one rides soft or hard. I want to replace old suspension on my subaru legacy b4 so i am considering bielstein shocks or these teins. please advise
Thanks for clear video. I plan on doing the same with Flex Zs and buying some 8.5 in wide wheels so I can run 235 wide tires. Hate how the stock wheels are 7.5 in wide cause I don’t hate the look.
Have some flex z’s coming in but I have 9.5 wide wheels already, hopefully no rubbing 🙏
shouldnt you back off the knob untill its straight, then back off the adapter into the knob like a jam nut?
You are a total hack!!
Was wondering if tsp tune will work for the 2.0 civics
I bought these for my 9 the gen Accord.. when I bought them I didn't notice I ordered the ones with the pillow ball top hat like you have..instead of the ones with the rubber top mount.. from my research the pillow ball top mounts are noisy in the car from road noise ..and are made for more of track use than daily driving... What's your opinion on them since you have had them on?
There is a rubber garment behind the battery on the fire wall. You just have to pull the battery out
Remember kids. Cross threading is tighter than any loctite
Do you have any shifter rattle at higher rpms?
That is the junkiest install I've ever seen
did it come with the carb sticker I have the same one but I dont know what to do about the carb sticker
Link to the difusser please
How did you run your remote wire?
how is it for a daily drive? did it improve the stability of the car?
It is pretty good and has decent stability. I think I need better tires or wider tires
how many miles do you have on it?
Good stuff man. You made it look easy. I have herd a lot of positive results with tein coilovers over the years. I just ordered a set of wheels for my gr86. And I was definitely planning on getting coils soon after. Quick question do u mind sharing how much these usually cost for the gr86/brz currently?
So these were from my 86 that I had previously but when I got them at that time they were 850.
And thanks for the support!
I’m seeing that price point which it’s not so bad. Most definitely on top of my list of coilovers for the gr. Thanks again
