The Mexican American war of 1846 is often referred to by “the taking of Naboths vineyard” or king ahab and naboth, The United States and Mexico. Like the story goes, the United States coveted Mexicos fine territories, California and Texas, but could not get them, so a plot was devised to stage and rob mexico, to place her as the aggressor, like Naboth, and to take the territory. However while the plot succeeded, it has received the strongest opposition by many of Americas and Christendoms smartest persons, and has been said that while the people of the United States did not create the conspiracy, they upheld it and collected the spoils, and like king ahab, will be obnoxious to the heavenly punishment or censure by the civilized world! If you search up the books on google, either the “taking of Naboths vineyard, a history of the Texas conspiracy” or “King ahab and naboth, or The United States and Mexico” you can read up on this interesting reference to the biblical story

Mike and I were so sorry to hear about Pamela's demise She was a beautiful person, inside and out and she was so loved. Of course, we loved your entire family and still do. Pamela's voice was truly amazing and I agree that she is signing in that heavenly choir today. Her beautiful daughters have inherited their beautiful mother's talents and I hope they will pursue music so their mother will continue to live through them in by blessing others with their voices like she did so many of us! Our hearts go out to Stuart, Gail and the entire family. We have missed y'all since you left Pine Forest but I am glad that my girls (Amber Mason and Ashley Garrett) stayed in touch with Pamela. Continued Prayers for her precious family who mean the world to us still to this day. To her parents siblings and her precious babies. It breaks my heart for you and I can’t imagine the loss that you will feel as you continue to live in this world without her precious soul here to share it with you as you journey on. I know the only comfort that you have is that you will be reunited one day in heaven. But until then my prayers are with you that the Lord will comfort your heart and give you the strength that you need to carry on. I love the fact that all of you her dear family have hung in to those incredible accents that we grew to love so very much. We miss your precious family here in Macon. And the part that your family played in our lives as you served at Pine Forest means the world to me. We will never forget y’all! I’m so thankful that we got to see and talk with her not too long ago at our home coming. She was a precious soul. A beautiful young lady with a beautiful voice. Whose memories we will cherish forever.
