The lights worked
I knew there was a reason everyone has them! Thanks for watching
🏌♂ Have you ever tried playing with vintage clubs ? let me know in the comments!
i've wanted to try my set of Ping eye 2's, but they are the wrong lie. What model are your vintage?
@@3rutu5 You should still take them out for a round. I bet they hold up very well to modern clubs. Would love to try and round with the Pings. Mine are Mizuno Pro Originals. As far as I can tell they're from 1982-84 or thereabouts. Still fantastic clubs and great fun to play with for the occasional round.
A good idea is to add more weight to the Clubhead, since cutting the shaft will change the swing weight. It will feel lighter, and can mess with your swing. But if you like it as is, no worries.
I did think of adding a bit of led tape to the head, but without a way to check the swing weight I thought I'd mess it up! It worked ok. Now I've switched out to the TM mini and loving the even shorter shat on that.
Wasn't going to watch but the coloured lights drew me in
I knew the lights make the difference! Thanks for watching 💪
Never leave the old tape on, like the guy said in another comment some tape does not like certain solvent. The old tape is dry and will soak up the fluid and never dries! Had this happen to me my first grip change. I even let them dry for a couple days before i took them out, first swing the club literally twisted in my hands.
I never thought about that with the old tape. When I do my irons I always take the old stuff off with a heat gun. For this club, I just wanted to test the shorter shaft with a crappy grip before doing it properly. A couple of weeks after I shot this video, I replaced to cheap grip I had lying around with a tour velvet, and removed all the old tape during that change. Loved the slightly shorter shaft, so much so I know switched to a baby driver fairway finder 🏌
Definitely not enough tape solvent or maybe the wrong type for that tape but the grip should slide on with little effort
Yeah, usually they slip on fine. I think I left it a bit long before putting it on messing around with the camera.
Would you ever cut down your driver yourself?
Do you love winter golf?
How bad can my putting get! What was your worst round of 2024?
Is this putter for sale on eBay right now? I swear I saw the same model and grip
Sadly not. Putter is still in the collection, although sporting a new Super Stroke grip now.
Great job, bro!!!
Thanks man !
Daym boi thats progress keep it up G na legit bro i can see in your face you are a legend.....
Thanks man, small steps but I keep going 💪
Bissel mehr Sonne 🌞 - aber ansonsten gute Aufnahmen 👍
Sonne ist derzeit ein Fabelwesen in Leipzig. bald ist es wieder da!
No sustain pedal is needed.
Yep, it didn't make it sound good. I'm getting back in to it and will lay off the sustain so much!
Playing the piano is great for the brain. You've got a nice rhythm going.@@ChipPuttPutt
Thank you, I always try to groove! @@macclift9956
Definitely more swing in this one.. Nice piano..what model is it?
Thanks! It’s getting there slowly. The piano is by a company called Fame. It’s just an entry level one I got to get me started. If it turns out I can put a tube together I’ll upgrade in a year or two to something with more weighted keys. This one is fine for me for Joe though!
Less sustain pedal, because it sounds muddy.
I will try that, thank you. I think unconsciously I keep my foot locked down on it as it kinda hides my faults.
@@ChipPuttPutt The sustain pedal helps, when you play two parts with your left hand, but in the lower range it's not helpful. Without, you can easily notice inaccuracies in rhythm and timing. I would use a metronome or a drum machine, so you are forced to stay in timing and time signature
@@robfriedrich2822 never quite sure when I should be using the pedals or not, so thank you for the tip! I’m completely new to piano so expect it to take some months before anything decent comes out. Roger on the click though, I have been practicing to one every day. You can see/hear it on some other vids. As a former drummer who used one for every practice and gig, I know how important it is. I’m aiming for smooth left hand chop without looking at 120bpm.
I agree.. Boogie Woogie doesn't really use the sustain pedal!!
