Hey there! lovely stream! it was my first time seeing you! After having hung out for the full stream I'd love to recommend you another great game i really, truly believe you'll enjoy a ton! It's also is very humoristic like The Stanley Parable but way more absurd, and it isn't very widely known... It's called "Jazzpunk" and i believe you'll find it's gameplay and humour really unique, and it is one of my faves since i was younger! Cheers! <3

🪦 🫡 PSP’s Portable Ops is next but it is very grindy. But worth reacting to it as a movie. Great new art style and excellent soundtrack. The PSP had a Wolfson brand Digital to Analog Converter. Same Brand of DAC in some of the most popular iPod Classics. It was an amazing thing to experience when I still had decent hearing.

Everything has been Dormin's plan from the start. He knew that Wander was going to die, and that Dormin himself would be sealed once again. After all, he is an incorporeal entity who knew what was happening in every little corner of those lands, with vast knowledge beyond human comprehension. People found a way to seal him, but out of fear, fear of the unknown. However, Dormin was victorious in his plan to resurrect and be reborn in Wander like a baby... unified with Wander’s soul, and his blood... This would leave a legacy for future generations, a cursed power, a dark legacy we can observe in ICO, or at least the belief that it’s a curse, but it’s not... Dormin even knew that one day his descendants would give rise to children who would find a way to use that power... A power between life and death. And even though Wander and his children keep their consciences and their lives, Dormin is still out there somewhere, waiting for the moment.

I Kind of See Wander's Story as a Story that's Similar to Anakin Skywalkers Story. Look at the Extremes they were willing to Go to Try to Save the Person They Love. They were So Focused on That that they Couldn't See Anything Else But That End Goal. They were Even Willing to Do Evil Things to Accomplish That Goal. Look at Wander, Look at the Colossi, the Colossi Weren't the Aggressors. They Didn't Go Out of There Way to Hurt or Kill Anyone. They were Living Peacefully in they're Quiet Land, then In Comes Wander to Kill Them. Mono was at Peace as Well. I Don't Think Wander was Even Doing this for Her as Much as He was Doing this for Himself. There is a Leason, a Harsh Leason Granted but a Leason to Be Learned Here. And I Think That is the Point this Game is Trying to Make. If You Think About it, Basically the Same Thing that Happened to Anakin Skywalker Happened to Wander, with Some Minor Differences. They Both went to the Darkside and were Willing to Do Evil Things Because of They're Selfish Need to Keep Someone They Loved in They're Lives. And it Consumed Them. There is a Big Difference Between Actual Selfless Love and Selfish Possession. That's the Leason. ❤

In relation to your comments about the mechanics of the game not being as smooth as some other games you've played (e.g. jumping backwards), I think it's at least partly in respect of the age of this game in comparison to the games you're thinking of. This game (and Ico) amaze me in terms of the visuals and the interactivity given what else was around at the same time. They're still beautiful now, and still very playable though certainly challenging at times. One thing that could have helped you were all the suggestions of killing the lizards, which would have given you more stamina, which would have been really useful while clinging on to a shaking hand. But it can be done without this, and you did, so that's an accomplishment to feel proud of, regardless of your frustrations in the process. And perhaps you're right, that there is no other TH-camr out there who has struggled like this. But that's probably because they cut all those practice runs to only show the success. Your experience was much closer to so many people who don't publicly share their gaming and so don't have an audience for when they fall and fail over and over and rage quit and come back and try again. To the ending... It does help to know this is a prequel. So people playing this all those years ago had (probably) already played Ico and therefore knew the ending to that story, and this just fills in some backstory. I did love your invented ending, though. I'm a romantic too :) I do prefer Ico to this one. It's beautiful, but I didn't find it as satisfying as Ico. The game play in Ico is a bit different to what you had here, and the story is simply better for me. I really hope you choose to play it as well, in spite of the bitter taste that the ending of this one has left. *lol* I guessed you'd rate the story as a 4 :) I think that's totally fair, as was the rest of your overall review. I guess nobody explained to him that the thing about the chart with the mining levels isn't any kind of guarantee, only a statistical thing based the code having a higher percentage chance of having diamond at those levels when the world was generated. Higher odds, but you are still dealing with random numbers.

1:27:42 in Tears, they should’ve made the master sword at 90 AT all times and make it last 20-30 minutes of active use. Meaning if you use it one charged attack at the start or 3 consecutive swings of the sword, then it uses it that long. Then it takes like about 45 minutes to charge. Unless you’re in the castle area, or when you’re near gloomed enemies. It’s varied in the depths. Just code the gloom effect combined when enemy is in attack mode and not too far from its spawn area. That’s how I’d have done the master sword. When not glowy it’s 90 but 120 the rest of the time when glowy near gloomed enemies.

I am amazed to think that we DIDNT have enemy drops back then besides hearts maybe magic containers and rupees

You didn't need to explain your plan for the mine so many times. We all got it before you finished it the first time. Unfortunately, no matter how cool your plans are, sometimes the game just says "F*** YOU", no matter what you do. At that point, you can either just go somewhere else and try again, or put on you big boy pants and make it happen, fighting whatever it throws at you until you get the area under control. I like building glass enclosures around my stairs/ladders/bubble elevators/whatever through areas like that so you can still see the bad guys, but they can't get you.

Good job my favorite game ever. I’m pretty sure you used a guide on #3 and #16. Cuts and comments right after you do the exact thing you need to do when it’s obvious you’re lost.

Hopefully after this episode, one of his people will tell him that he can make chest boat for himself, and another boat for Buddy, and put Buddy in his boat, strap a lead to the boat (not Buddy) and pull it behind him in his boat at full speed.

26 episodes in, why does he still insist on going mining with a full inventory? He even has a safe place that came with free chests. And I know that he knows that as long as he just stays in the same area, staring at the mobs, they are going to keep spawning. RIP shield.

Since you asked, in my current world I'm in full netherite, max enchnats in all my gear, but I still ALWAYS stop for coal, redstone and gold. The only reason I don't stop for iron is because I have an iron golem farm. But, before that, I ALWAYS stopped for iron, too.

2:44:00 - I love this game, but it is definitely not a feel-good ending. Since it's a short game (something that can easily be re-played in 1 day) I'm fine with the more melancholic ending. But I absolutely get your feeling on it and I would feel similarly if a longer game, like BOTW, left me with anything short of a happy conclusion. Sounds like you need a nicer story game to cleanse the pallet. I really hope Wind Waker gets ported for you so you can try it out. Seems like the perfect lighthearted game to dispel this shadow. More so than Twilight Princess, which isn't a sad game, but is less than 100% joy.

You should totally check out Legacy Of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remasters very good story line of betrayal, vengeance, and free will makes you think about life for sure 💯

2:23:04 - The closest thing to an alternate ending in this game is to collect enough stamina to climb up to this secret garden as Wander. It doesn't really change the ending, but it's nice to be able to visit it.

2:00:35 - If you look VERY CLOSELY, Wander was slowly getting more sickly/corrupted after every Colossus. This is most clear in black veins forming around his neck. This is a little more obvious in the old version. That said, the final change to his model is more extreme than all the others combined.

1:37:27 - It's really great game development that they put this training section in here for you so you have a chance to practice jumping off a ledge in a low-risk area prior to using it on the hands. This is a move you were taught on your way to the very first colossus and has only been required a few times since.

I dont really post, but i just wanted to let you know about the Skulltulas in Hyrule Fields so you dont waste a lot of time searching every nook and cranny, there are only 2 Gold Skulltulas in Hyrule Fields and they are in secret holes you can only find with your Shard of Agony. 1. somewhere near-ish entrance of Kakariko Village 2. Somewhere near-ish entrance of Gerudo Valley

Minecraft isn’t a game where you can just play through it and find everything the game has to offer. Looking up what is available is almost necessary because there are no in game guides as to what to do.

1:07:45 - And now you know why Agro is a popular name for horses in BOTW :( For what was originally a PS2 game, the horse behavior was amazingly believable. Agro feels like a real creature that can't be 100% controlled but also wants to help you.

Nice. Relived the story with you. To me this game is beautiful for the atmosphere. Everytime Wander kills a colossi he change a little, getting more demonic. It also raises questions, as a lot of the colossi don't try to kill you, and they let you go away not persecuting you. Makes you think "Am I the bad guy?". I'm not a huge fan of the ending too, but I guess it makes sense.

I really liked Horizon Zero Dawn, but the sequel's story let me down. Hope you like it though.

So bummed that while he intuited that the golem was fighting the bad guys and needed to be released, he didn't do it FIRST so the golem could fight with him... and instead it died in the cage. And never tried to look inside for treasure, to boot.
