So sorry for whatever it is you're facing, Zach. But I'm glad the Lord put this subject on your heart to film this video. It's so encouraging. I know the true meaning of Christmas, but there are German traditions that make the season special. As we've dealt with tremendous stress for many years, I always look forward to this time for lightheartedness. We might be able to keep one other traditon this year, but it's uncertain. And of course, in our homeless situation....there's a lot I'll miss. All that to say, I pray that my focus would be on Jesus Christ and His beautiful humility of coming to earth for us. What a loving Savior!!!!! Amen, we are not destroyed!! Thank you for sharing and may God bless you!

Wonderful words of encouragement, Zach! Though my family did not lose a family member, we have been under attack, spiritually speaking. As you may know, we are a family of 5 homeless, living in our truck. December 7 marks exactly 6 months of this for us. Some of us are having a more difficult time than others. All of us are having a hard time this time of the year, with everyone around us celebrating the Christmas season with cozy meals, festivities, etc. Our family has always celebrated Christmas with family traditions that have been passed down the years, but this year, obviously, it will be different. Please join my husband and I in praying especially for our 2 daughters ( ages 31 and 27 ), who are having a most difficult time with Not being able to have the traditional Christmas that they have loved having for as long as they can remember. Thank you, Zach again for this wonderful talk! You are doing a great job, so don't throw in the towel please! May God bless you!

Hello, I am not receiving notifications from this channel, ( though I have hit the notification bell ) so I apologize for this late comment. I enjoyed this video! About giving God control.. for me personally, i notice that when I worry and fear over things I have no control over, then I am definitely not trusting God. However, when I give of myself completely to Him by total surrendering to Him, then there is no room for fear, worry, fretting, etc. As you asked, I am praying for you, Zach!✝😊

Recently I did a study on Surrender - something I've struggled with for years. And I still don't have it together, but it's getting a little easier. I am concerned for someone, and I'm trying to work on not get anxious. There are things I want to change, but ultimately, it's all in the Lord's hands. Well said, Zach! I know what you mean: the city we're dwelling in is spiritually dark, regardless of the churches there are. Yes, only Jesus can give us true peace! Isaiah 26:3 is one of my favorite verses: "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because He trusts in You." Praying for your aunt! May God give her His perfect peace (shalom shalom) and comfort.

I too am so blessed by friends whom the Lord has placed in my life-your precious mom is one of them. :) Beautiful scenery! God is an amazing Creator! I agree: there's something special about fellowshiping with the Lord, wrapped in His peace. Due to our family situation, we're surrounded by people a lot- even in the park where I like to spend time in the Word. It's easy to be distracted. It takes discipline to focus. As much as I dislike modern day politics, and many of it's incompetence. And many times I find doubt and disappointed of the future of humanity, but things like you Zach give me little hope that there is a glimmer to a brighter day. I had heard of things, horrible things of what other Western countries are currently dealing. And you are the last person I want Zach to break your spirit like my young self did, it would greatly sadden me. But we won't have to fight any battle alone, as we can stand firm together like ants. I am not religious, but I can send my greatest wishes to your dearest aunt and her grave loss. I can only hope she gets better, for I worry.
