Worked in Shetland for six years. Shetland llamb is in a class of its own. Wonderful !
A number of years back while up at The Dim the good lady & I purchased some Yell strawberries. Once tasted never forgotten.

Shetland lamb is a different meat altogether ! You get a beast thats never seen a blade of grass ! Its grazed on seaweed, heather shoots, and herbs ! Its wonderful !

As an englishman in england I must say I have never tasted lamb like I had in Shetland ! Sublime !
I mean, come on. This is a fascinating short film and deserves far more views and likes. Hopefully there will be more videos on Shetland and traditional food! Mutton is a delicious meat, I prefer it to lamb and if you can, buy it in quantity - you can get half a mutton for between £50 - £60 if you look around and it's fantastic
I've never tasted lamb like Shetland lamb ! They've got lambs who've never seen a blade of grass ? They feed on seaweed and heather shoots ! Best ever !
I lived in Shetland. I've never tasted lamb anywhere near as good as Shetland lamb !
