I LOVE THIS!!! I was having flashbacks to my Grandmothers teaching me how to do proper table settings and about table etiquette as a little girl!!! This was Great!!!
Awww.....thank you, Gretchen, that really means a lot. My Mother taught me how to set a table, formal and for every day, and it really has been valuable. Doing this gave me such wonderful memories of those times with her and my Grandmother.

you can buy new capacitors for the mixer the back dial comes off with a single screw behind the brass cap, also those 2 holes are for oil, 2 drops in the front close to the beaters, and 1 small drop in the small hole by the dial, its in the maintenance book for these mixers, use machine oil or 3-1 oil for motors, and don't over oil

I have about 13 classic Barbie reproductions, a Christy repro and a couple of silkstones because I’ve always wanted a diverse collection with the midcentury Barbie face molds. I bought my first one in the late 90s. My TH-cam channel only has a couple of videos where I made miniature dogs for the dolls. I collect original outfits and I sew 1960s inspired dresses. I also make my own 1:6 scale miniatures and accessories for the dolls.

What a cool haul! As soon as I saw those first beads I immediately thought "LAMPS!" just like you did lol. Gretchen must be a mind reader sending you those beads you were planning on buying too!

Those Beaters are more for creaming and whipping. Some older sunbeam mixmasters did come with spiral looking set of dough hooks. They're not quite like the modern Corkscrew looking version on the new mixers but I wonder if there's an option that would fit yours. My knowledge of Sunbeam Mixmasters is very limited.

Hello 👋 1980s Black Barbie is absolutely stunning!! I had her as a kid and since repurchased her for my collection. I agree Mattel released many black dolls such as Francie, Julia and Christie. However they were presented as “Barbies friends”. 1980 black Barbie is considered the first “Black Barbie” as Barbie herself. She’s lovely and should be celebrated!! 🎉
