3:35 Arcane Robes doesn't turn a crit into a normal hit, it causes it to deal normal damage instead of critical damage. So you can't downgrade it to a normal hit then save it with a normal save. And then 5+ invulnerable save doesn't mean you can crit save on 5+, invulnerable save is a completely different thing that has no effect in this case. So the target should have taken 7 damage, not 3.

Really enjoy these battle reports, keep em coming! I did notice a few things during the report that I wanted to bring up for awareness the next time the teams are played. If I am incorrect in any of them, please let me know. The Fellgor “Call the attack” should only be a dash (3”) but it looks like it was measured much further than that in the report. The Toxhorn Pox Bomb radius is only 2” and it looked like it might’ve been measured generously early on to be able to hit all those Kroot. But it is hard to tell the exact distances from the video. The Herd-Goads “Incite Fury” cannot be used on the Shaman. Check the Kroot BS because many of them were hitting on 4+ in the game when they’ve been upgraded to hitting on 3+ and vice versa. The Kroot Hound couldn’t have fallen back using its “Gather” ability after a charge as no other movement can be made in an activation an operative charged. The Cold Bloods “Well Stocked” ability does not allow for both rounds of ammunition to be shot at the same time but rather they can choose one of them for the shooting attack and the benefit is instead of that equipment going away due to it being limited, you can use it one more time in the next shooting phase if you choose. Kroot can automatically retain 2 normal saves from cover or 1 critical. Hope that helps clear some things up and thanks again for putting on some great battle reports with entertaining commentators and camera work!

You can combine 2 normal saves to block a crit, so the shotgun would only have done 3 damage in TP1 to its second target. Bird man is lethal 5+ so would parry with normal hit and crit for 6, but he used 3 action points and only has 2 (falchu, charge and fight). Did the Way Seeker cast lightning strike twice in one turn? He can’t do that. Does the Felarch have a neuro disruptor? Looks out of range in TP2, also he should shoot before the over watch! Plasma can’t shoot twice! Gunner saves on 4+ not 3+! Each operative can only overwatch once per turning point. I really enjoy the format and the vibe but the rules could do with a bit more focus! Will defo keep watching.

4:56 warding shield is 3+ invulnerable, but if you guys are coming from full size 40K, you don't get saves in melee here; just parry or hit alternating.

3:56 if they are both at water level, in the rules it was written as obscuring if any line of sight crosses 2 white circles (4") of the hazardous water. In the balance dataslate it has since been updated to "Not Visible".

Would be nice to see the options taken at match setup = which gun on gunner, which buffs on Volgar? Especially with "piloted" teams where you don't list build, its the little things that make the difference.

I like this fast Battle Reports. Yes I saw some rule errors but it was fun. The background music is ok but sometimes too loud in overall.

Shared. Smart move putting the disclaimer at the start, kills all the "Acktually.." rules-mongers. Definitely entertaining to watch, and the pacing is no fluff. Cool transitions between the turns. Neat background music. Love the bits of sound effects added to the shots/actions. Couple of suggestions, meant constructively: 1. Lots of numbers being thrown around, a tally (such as hit points) would be cool to see on the screen., 2. Any/all dice rolls thrown on the screen would be appreciated. In my opinion, makes the action feel more 'real' or in line with the gaming experience. 3. I heard some sound issues coming through, possibly due to the quality of the mikes or requiring a bit more distance from the mics? I'm not a sound expert by any means, though, so I likely don't know what I'm talking about. Oh, and also: Coach Gavin, Stop cheating. The technique is impressive, but dude its all on camera. lol Great job guys!

Alright so with this second episode I’m still in love with you guys but I do have some criticism. While I love the new camera angel it could have been placed way better, I think you guys saw how much everyone loved the fast pace of the last episode and decided to double down…I would pull it back just a bit and try to shoot closer to 20 minute, I think to do that instead of just showing us close ups in between rounds you should do it every few operative activations to make the game feel more alive? Also you guys gotta do better emphasizing which model is currently doing something, if you could put a picture of him on the side of the screen or something while he’s doing something like “herd goad whips mangler into shape” you show a picture of the herd goad and then the mangler in space you have on the left side of the screen. It would help visualize everything. Here’s the pros: Commentary is way better, models look way better, the music somehow got more banging and the production level is still leagues above other channels doing the same stuff as you guys. Just keep growing and I’ll be here to support! OVERALL: 6/10 First episode was: 8/10 EDIT: also the coach thing is tad cringe but if you continue it I won’t judge, I just thought it was cooler when you focused more on the teams.
