Yacht To Know
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 24 มี.ค. 2019
This all started with buying a boat. A few years and many unrecorded repairs later, I thought I would share what I'm doing so others could possibly learn from what I know.
Episode 2 Inflatable Boat Repair (Part Two - Completing Repairs)
Part two - Installing a new D-Ring and oar mount.

Episode 1 Inflatable Boat Repair (Part One - Disassembly)
มุมมอง 7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Part one, of a two-part video, on how to repair an inflatable boat/tender.
Any ideas how to get an old patch off? I’ve got one I need to remove and replace. Heat gun maybe??
Hi Tim. Yes, use a heat gun and gently heat the area, always keeping the heat moving. In episode one, you can see where I removed the old, torn D ring, using a heat gun.
@@yachttoknow sounds great I’ll give it a try! Thanks a bunch
I like that "yacht to know" sounds like "ya ought to know". Clever
Sir ,,what glue u using to patch the ring??
Hello Yuszaini… I used a two part adhessive that can be purchased on Amazon. There is a link to it above in the show notes.
@@yachttoknow TQ sir...👍💟🇸🇬
@@yachttoknow sir,,u ever try goop marine glue?
No, I have not. I like the adhesive I used because it is clear and you don’t see it. A lot of adhesive on the market are yellow and the colour gets worse after time.
@@yachttoknow 👍👍👍👍
Great video! I'm needing to patch some holes in my Intex Mariner 4 boat. Thanks for the information!
Thank you for the comment Linda. I'm happy to hear that this has helped you.
I like the new intro.
Parts arrived today at a friend's place in Vermont. They will be forwarding the package to me and it should be arriving early next week!
Nice work Captain! Very informative, job well done! Great to share that knowledge!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome! Looking forward to the next one. 🙌
Soon.....part shipments are slow and delayed!
Nice work!!! Any idea how the previous owner ripped that D ring out?
No idea at all.
