Whats with Christians getting tats? It really isn't beneficial for the Faith and doesn't demonstrate Godliness in anyway shape or form. It draws attention to the flesh and is indulgent. I wonder what Chrisitians have collectively spent on getting tattooed and what that money could have done if channelled to where it is needed to help those who are literally starving or dying from treatable disease. It is actually sickening. I honestly believe the majority if not all will grow bored of the aesthetic novelty very soon and probably grow to regret having them done. Our bodies do not belong to us. Imagine someone loaned you a Ferrari and you went and had it modified, had a little art deco permanently painted on the body without their authority. When the owner comes to collect his vehicle I wonder how they will react? There is no text in the bible that authorises body modification. What is going on with the modern church?
