Nice Track! Very Albert Lee styled.
Lovely!
Sounds awesome!
Hi just got my b bender installed to day can u please make a video lesson of this for me
Have you got a patreon or any merch.? Huge fan, and as one *maturing* poultry picker to another with same tastes (and an inner desire to be a pedal steel player😂) im all about supporting the brothers.
appreciate the comment and support. I don't have patreon. I'm researching options...I'm not offering any merch...just videos.
Look how complicated the fingering of the right hand action is. Not easy to play with conviction. Good Job Bob, (to the very last gasp at the end).
thanks man!
Hangin'. Last moments of the riff steal it baby!
Every time I try to make a bend, my guitar untunes... Cool riff though
Give the strings a couple of stiff pulls ...stretch the slack out of them Check your tuners...make sure thier tight Thanks for watching
Very nice, be great if the tab was a bit bigger, I can't see that at all..
@JW-km3by I understand, and I've corrected that on my recent videos...thanks for commenting
Haggard wrote that now.
I just know I've heard this song someplace before..... 🤠
This ole smoke filled bar is something I’m not used to , I gave up my home to see you , satisfied, I just called to let you know , where I’ll be living , it’s not much but I feel welcomed here inside , I’ve got swangin doors, a jukebox , and a barstool!!!!!
Luv the sound❤❤
Excellent
I have memories of growing up listening to Barney Kessel late night - over 60 years ago ?
Excellent work! Thanks so much I’m a big Barney Kessel fan👏
thanks...I'm a fan as well
Thank you,very like it
? How do u get that tone. Love that tone
good old Tele and a Fender amp...maybe a little compression and quick delay. thanks for listening
Outstanding
Excellent! 👍👍
you are one hot steely guit-fiddle picker~!!
Phenomenal!
LG....good work....thanks for slowing it down...as well as the essential transcription... generous....hope you do more the same way ...thanks for sharing
Thanks man
I cant see the tab needs to be biger
I'll keep it in mind for the future
I like that use of open strings! It's a great add to any guitarist's trick bag! Many applications of this sound!
THANKS
Good picking L G. But the electric guitar on the original studio cut was Phil Baugh.
thanks for the correction
@@smalltownteleboy You're welcome. I didn't know that until the 1990's.
Great guitar playing with a great sound and song.
Love it
Fine tuned machine !
Wow.. !! Nice double and triple stopping. Tasteful playing🎸🎸🎶🎶👍
Thanks man...appreciate you listening
Really nice !
Thanks Ed!
B Bender?
Yes... the solo guitar is a b bender
Very nice country pickin Bob. Bill Scott Guitar
Thank You Sir !
Thank You
Sounds great buddy
Thanks for watching
This is awesome! Can't figure out some of those steel guitar licks. Are you using a B bender?
Definetly I am using a B-bender...
Is that fretboard scalloped? Never seen a country picker with a scalloped fretboard!
no they're not scalloped...maybe it's that my action is a little higher than most tele guy's...I have big hands...
A great mix Bobby!
This is great!! A bit more than just a "humble attempt," you made this your own and it rocks!! 😁
Thanks for checking it out!
Most excellent!
This is lovely. It has a meditative feel... a cathartic quality. Thank you.... Cheers, Tony from Seattle Neverstop
Great lick! The tab is quite confusing though. the way you play it you are doing an upbeat to the 1 and not the 3 like described in the tab. The lick ends on a 4 and not 1. I dont hear you play any 32-notes as well only 16-notes. otherwise its great and I will use this. thanks!
thanks for the correction...I'll try and work more at accuracy next time...or leave notation off...
Most guitarists would just look at the notes and learn the rhythm by ear anyway so it’s still great help so don’t leave it off! It’s no big deal, just wanted to share my thoughts
I was learning guitar pro seven when I made the tab for that video ...I'm getting better with the notation with it lately...
Wow!! thats a sweet take on that tune. Whats the chord voicing sliding up at 1:36 that sounds jazzy cool.
Thanks man...It's an A13 ...starts on the 5th string 10th fret...G/C#/F#/B then an E added on top
@@smalltownteleboy Thanks
Sounds like how I wanna sound when I play guitar. Too bad you can’t find these kind of backing tracks online.
maybe when I have time I'll try and upload a couple...
Bob, I was talking with Dave Horne the other day and he told me I needed to listen to "Through the Guard Rail." Any chance you can send me a copy to listen to? Roy
That's from a solo LP I recorded in Nashville in the late 90's...it's out of print ...
Beautiful. What's your signal chain?
For this ...holy grail verb ...moore delay...plugin compressor
Great job!
thanks man!
Nice Bobby!
Dig it!!
