I can't see the difference, it looks smudged either way.

Why isn't the AI doing anything?

I just found out that if you hold X and Triangle as soon as you start the game you can get the progressive scan mode. The game looks 100x sharper and some of the textures are way better. You have to do this everytime you start the game though but it’s amazing. These textures don’t work for me anymore since I use a new build but it looks amazing it doesn’t matter

Hi icebullet! there was another project from another guy who achieved upscaled textures of almost everything in SH1, but only on retroarch emulator, because he says Duckstation is buggy for upscaled textures, maybe that can fix the other issues!!

More Ps1 texture packs are always greatly appreciated. Probably among the most requested on ps1 are Castlevania SotN, Final Fantasy 8 and Parasite Eve 1. I say only final fantasy 8 because 7 has 7th heaven mods and 9 has moguri "great upscale mods on both" but the pc remaster of 8 looks like butt if you ask me. A simple upscale imo would look 10 times better than what square provided us with imo.

I don’t think these work anymore. When I click textures on and off there is no difference. The only thing that works Is the optional portraits Game looks great anyway with the other options available
