Why don't you ask your municipality , if they can sell you water? They do that in my province, they have container vehicles for water use

I told a Greek friend about your interesting project. he told me: Before you buy, get your building permission, as it got much more harder recently to build. He told me, that if you're too far off the grid, it's also quite a cost factor to get electric and water. He meant that a lot of people started building (early) before the new law came into action and then stopped the building process, just to have something built and later they would go on with building when they had sufficient money. I hope everything works out well for you three! ;)

I have been watching your videos and I love everything that you are trying to accomplish. Better to talk with the locals and they will help you out but one consideration that you can look into is Pre-Fabricated houses. God bless you both. And good luck. Elon Musk has a fantastic tiny home, collapsable for 15,000€. Wouldn't it be great if you could use something like that. There's even a German firm that has something similar in idea but better looking for round about €25,000. Looks great.

All of the food in this looks good, as do the views. Swimming is always the highlight to me. Too bad there's so much red tape involved with allowing you to really move ahead. They should tell that to people before they buy the land. Loved the footage and music at the end, too.

@Casey Bachmeyer My father built a 2 story house around 160 square meters in about 2 years in peloponese, similar landscape. Here in Greece you need to pressure everyone to move faster because the pace is really slow. If you don't make calls, if you don't go face to face in the offices over and over again it's gonna take forever. Once you get the permissions, actually building and workers are faster than you think. Obviously you are going to go through a lot of issues and headaches but nothing that isn't solvable. Also don't forget that a bit of "mistakes" (illegalities) while building won't get punished especially in land so big like yours and with no neighbors. Nobody actually cares if you build something small without permission. If you want to be clean and 100% to be legal, good for you because you won't have issues in the future, that's what my father did at least. The process of building in countries like greece, spain, italy is slow because of paperwork and permissions but in the end it pays off. Good luck with your dream.

Since leaving I have always longed to go back, and when I found your channel I was amazed, surprised and instantly hooked. You have struck gold with your purchase, this is one of the most beautiful regions of Greece and perhaps of the entire Mediterranean.
