I totally agree I use to skate 10 miles a day Venice and Santa Monica, and at Northridge skateland. They turned the rink into a homeless shelter during covid. Happy skating finally a song I like MJ

I was there today for a field trip

When I was a teenager in the early 80’s, my parents managed a rink and I got to skate all I wanted. Now I see all these videos if people skating, really good I must say. And all this time I thought all rinks were closed.

You are so cute Jen. You and my wife could pass for sisters. You are about the same size, very similar in build, and favor some. She even had short hair that she constantly changed the color of for the first several years of our relationship. A few years back she decided to grow it out though. I think she’s about ready to go back short with it. 😂

my skating in the opposite direction looks a lot like shuffle skating. i never could skate very well in that direction.
