In one interview before the album came out, Rob Trujillo said something to the effect of having improvised the bass part with the image of driving along a beach at dusk-time and seeing the sun set being burnt into his mind. Even the biggest piece of trash has some redeeming qualities. This one has been disowned by its creators (both initial and those who had to finish it) and is largely ignored by hardcore fans of the first game, but Craig Conner's music still kicks ass.

What's the difference in the game version?
This was uploaded before the full soundtrack became digitally available. If I remember correctly, the other TH-cam uploads at the time were of poor quality and in a different pitch than what was in the game. I had to scour the internet for the highest quality version of the song, and although I couldn't find anything decent, I came across the tracklist for a physical full soundtrack release. Being unable to listen to the "official" version, but aware of its existence, I called this upload the "game version" just in case the full soundtrack album that I had found would ever become public or if someone would upload that "official" version of this song onto TH-cam and the mixes would be different. With that in mind, pretty much the only two differences are that this version is lower quality, but has a different (better) fade out at the very end.

Let me firstly say that this visual is at its finest. Like(and love) it. Stuff is still as 80s as possible. The angles, the tints and color combo are all good! Just a whole other kinda look one can't expect. And "Success" has always been a success no matter what the version could be.
