@@pbenson56fran thank you so very much I appreciate that .. it gets played a lot.. and when I bought it I really wasn't that impressed with it but around the 10-year mark I ended up having to have a fret job done and replace the nut and saddle with bone. And made a huge difference.. On a different point.. I bought that guitar in July of 02 was the first thing I bought when I got sober.. I got sober in March of that year and that guitar was made in March so I guess it was meant to be.
This is one of the most underrated Eagles songs. The harmonies on it, especially during the "out where the desert meets the sky" part are just so stellar. Anyway, your version is wonderful.
