I've got the 5 classic albums for Ratt, they were a band I discovered late and so I listened to all of those albums (it's the first five albums) at the same time. Of those, Detonator is my favourite. The other four albums are all good tbh, even Reach for the Sky.

I am a big fan of Winger and Reb Beach. I enjoyed the video thanks! Too bad they are doing the farewell tour here in Japan next year...By the way I like White Lion too.

Man, you are so damn right! You can hear the influences, but it's not a cover band or cheap plagiarism. I constantly get goosebumps when I listen to this record. This album is a true masterpiece for me and blew my socks off. Thank the Band & Mr. Rock for this brilliant piece of music. Keep rocking ;-)

Greetings from Costa Rica. I have been a Within Silence since their beginning. This their third release wich I got on cd and vinyl. All their albums are solid and spiritual based lyrics. I like them very much. Thank you for reviewing them.

We love the vibes, too! This band is strong on originality, mixing folk-death beats and riffs rescued from the ashes of MYTHOTYN with the "minstrel" voice of their singer, the like of which you'd have to search far. Maybe Hansi Kursch of BLIND GUARDIAN could be a reference, but Mathias Blad is even smoother in his baritone delivery, without ever venturing into thrashy shout. And their songs touch nicely on the Medieval tales, myths and accounts of dirty daily existence in the "Romantic" times of old... overall a unique band we are lucky to have come along.

Great video got to take Winger for best album here but just to keep things correct they formed in 1987 but there first album didn’t release till around August of 1988

I’m 57 and when the first xyz came out I was blown away the guitar tone and riffs are amazing and the the second came out and amazing again . Another band that reminds me of them with vocals and guitar tones and riffs is firehouse. You should do a throw down on first two firehouse vs first two xyz . Both great bands it might be a good show.

Dude… Krash man I have never heard of this band bro but I just listened to the song When Worlds Collide and bro that song is FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!! Dude… like I get a very Iron Maidenish Rime Of The Ancient Mariner sorta vibe but as if that song was a faster tempo style song. Very epic song! The singer really reminds me alot of a cross between Bruce Dickinson and Blaze Bayley. Like Bruce’s operatic style vocal but with Blaze Bayley’s voice. Very good song! Awesome stuff bro! I can’t wait to check out the rest of the album and their other 2 albums bro that song is FUCKING EPIC!!!!!! So so so so good. It’s hard to describe it tho. It’s definitely power metal but very angelic and just uplifting at the same time too. Very very good but I get a very strong Iron Maiden vibe but like more medival like with the imagery of like templat knights fighting in an epic battle. Very very very very good song bro! Very angelic and just uplifting and just like one of those songs that can make the hair stand up on the back of your neck type of songs but none the less man very very very good! Can’t wait to hear the rest of the album! Very good stuff!

My list might have looked similar to this before I discovered a lot of the more obscure bands. Being overplayed has ruined more than half of these for me except some deep cuts. They're technically still great albums but I just don't listen anymore.

I dont know where else to, or how to contact you…I don't do any social media, except YT, if that counts as such. Anyway, I discovered your channel and first spoke to you on your video interview with Nicoletta Rossellini. Did you ever check out a girl named Frederica Lanna, another Italian metal chick, and I forgot her band's name, Voltron, or Voltrurain I think , they have some good stuff, "Killing Joke" is one of their good ones, but she has this new side project, they do covers of classic American metal/rock. They just posted a Metallica cover. It sounds really good. I dont know if I can post a link, but check out the cover by Rusty Tank of "Fuel" by Metallica. It's really good. Nice and raw, no bullshit, with hot chick singer and good vocals, both lead and harmony. I'm a Megadeth fan so I I don't like Metallica ( I'm one of those people), and I've never even listened to the song before, I mean I've heard it, but I didn't know it's title or anything, nor REALLY listened to it. What a great song, at least this cover is. I noticed you like music from that era, so I thought might like it. They should do a metal version of YMCA lol. Now I love that song too.

My mom was a big Ricky Nelson fan. She bought the Nelsons album and played it a lot when I was 10 years old in 1990

Queensryche is not quite glam/hair metal for me but it's the best of these. From those songs that you didn't remember, The Thin Line was a little hard to get into but it grew on me and the pre-choruses are amazing. Trixter is great! One In A Million is so good. Nelson and Steelheart are not bad but worse than the other two. After The Rain and Will you Love Me hit hard, especially the former.

The only album I have is the Steelheart one which I love, not much of a Queensryche fan and haven't listened to the other two bands

Well , for me Empire is the best Queensrÿche album ever ! Operation is a great album indeed, but Empire is far away better for my taste. Love Trixter and Nelson either, and even if Steelheart is not in my top 20 bands, I love those 2 first albums. Anyway, it's impossible for me to decide , I love all 4 !!! 🤣

How would you rank these four albums (Hair Metal Adjacent Albums?): Jetboy - Feel the Shake Smashed Gladys - Social Intercourse Mother Love Bone - Apple Bang Tango - Dancing on Coals I'm pretty new to your channel, so if these albums are outside of your wheelhouse, feel free to pass. If you don't know them, I would recommend all four.

I will say I disagree strongly with Queensryche being Hair Metal. Queensryche is progressive metal.
